I've bought this item before, this is a repeat purchase. I've been drinking Bonvit Dandelion tea for years but recently found the 1kg bags through City Health foods. I found buying the tea in loose format better than buying it in tea bag form from the supermarket. And a lot cheaper too.

I am an old retired natural Therapist and have been a bit of a coffee snob but started to not really enjoy it much, so one day just looking at the amazing dandelions in my back yard I remembered the drink I used to use in my younger days. I bought some from this site and made a batch but I found it a bit bland for my taste so after experimenting I came up with a recipe that I love.I use 2 dessert spoons of the dandelion/chicory mix and a freshly ground single shot size of coffee into a 2-cup press add a sprinkle of rock salt and add the hot water. Really enjoy this coffee alternative.I brew it by gentle simmering for a few minutes then strain.It's such a healthy alternative and it doesn't clog or stain teeth.Can sweeten with honey/ maple syrup and add almond milk. Prefer it without either.Really recommend this product.
