Borderlands 3 Ultimate Edition (Switch)

My favourite out of the whole Borderlands series. While yes, most people agree that the dialogue is the most grating thing about the game, luckily the gameplay itself more than makes up for it. I've run through the game probably a dozen times at this point with several friend groups, and each run has been very different and very fun with all the different characters and skill trees you can go down. Overall a very solid game, definitely one to pick up if you have friends to play with

A bundle of pure anarchy!

So I feel after the third game of a franchise it can get stale. Although its hard to beat such an amazing sequel in story this game destroyed it in gameplay. Not to say the story is horrible just more like the first what isnt a bad thing. In exploring and side quests it dwarfs the 2, with the gameplay more tighter and the weapon count going into infinity this title was worth the wait and the extra cash to have this masterpiece complete.

BL3 - Nintendo Switch

This game is great. I had it for the PS4 and compared it to the gameplay on the Nintendo Switch. I only play it handheld so the experience was quite different. But it would be like comparing apples to oranges. The gameplay is great, but I think that the game can be to much for the system sometimes and it will randomly close the game during gameplay.

Borderlands 3 on Nintendo Switch?!

I truly never thought I would see the day that this game was ported to the Nintendo Switch and in the state the game is in overall. Sure there are the expected graphical and frame rate cutbacks vs other platforms, but the entire game along with all DLC included is here and playable on the go! Impressive for what it is, IMHO.

Close but falls short

They did a decent job of bringing the Borderlands 3 experience to the Nintendo Switch. The required memory varies between 8gb and 24gb, depending on how many of the DLC packs you install. The main downsides are the blurry visuals, the pop-in details, and game crashes. I probably had the game crash four times over six hours. If you can tolerate the graphical issues and crashes, it is a pretty good time.

Doesn't support couch-op (local co-op)

The game itself is great. If you've played any of the other Borderlands games then you know what you're getting. The only thing I hate is that it does not support couch-op (local co-op). I specifically bought this for that reason so that my girlfriend and I could play together at home just like we've been doing for all of the other Borderlands games. Not having that support was very disappointing as we were looking forward to playing this game together. Now the only way we can play this together is to get another Nintendo Switch, another copy of Borderlands 3, and a family online membership! That's way too costly at being over $400 and no way we are going to do that. I just hope that Borderlands or Nintendo will release a software update for this game to support ... MoreThe game itself is great. It's worth a purchase.

Bought this while it was on sale. They did a great job porting this to the Switch. Does take a little to load and of course this isn't going to be the graphic powerhouse but I definitely do recommend picking it up. It's great having a physical copy of the game and being able to play it handheld.

Just buy Borderlands 2

Unfortunately I’m giving this game the short end of the stick. If you are just a die hard fan of borderlands and just want it on the switch so you can pick back up at any time it’s an ok buy. The game runs not the greatest and will crash about 10 to 20 times until complete lol. It just runs bad on the switch the technology just isn’t there not to mention it takes about 20 min just to get to the start screen of the game, not even in the game just to boot up. I very much recommend if your gonna buy this don’t. Just buy borderlands 2 runs amazing and plays so much better and honestly has a much more enjoyable experience.

Really Fun Game Especially With Friends!

If you liked the previous borderlands then youll definitely enjoy this title. This game is newcomer friendly. I purchased this game specifically to play wirh a friend because shes new to playing video games. She has recently has started an interest in playing other games than your typical crash and spyro titles. Anyhow its a fun game and i paid 20 dollars for this game so its a no brainer.

Surprised to see this on switch

Im a huge fan of the borderlands series so this was a much purchase for me. All of the game is on the cartridge but the dlc must be downloaded from the eshop. The game suffers from the usual switch port frame rate drop and lag and has crashed a few times on me though. Also no couch coop but does feature local and online coop. No crossplay like the other versions of the game however.
