Due to arthritis in my hands I have converted my workshop to the 12v(10.8v) range of Bosch tools and I have more than 16 battery operated products in this range. They are light, well built and have a good power to weight ratio. I purchased the Bosch Angle Drill Driver specifically for the assembly of aluminium profile framing and due to the right angle drive the stalling torque when the fixtures are fully driven in is less damaging to my hands and wrists than with a conventional 'straight through' drive. Bosch 12v Angle Drill.

I bought the Bosch 12v Angle Drill recently. I had read the reviews and thought it would be an ideal addition to my existing Bosch 12v tools. Clearly had a use for the Angle Drill. Early days but it has proved very useful.Build quality is very good and it feels robust.

Excellent piece of kit up to Bosch Professional normal high standard. Long trigger button and slim body are good design features to using it in hard to reach places. The variable angle head gives it an extra advantage too. Battery life remaining LED display is useful too. No regrets buying it and wished I’d bought one years ago.

Good drill/driver with good battery life.

More powerful than I expected, and with a longer battery life than I expected, too. The angled head is extremely useful (just need to be sure it clicks fully into place in the straight position, if used, or it can jump when tightening screws). The long trigger allows you to hold it in various different grips and still control the speed. One very minor gripe is that the three little LEDs for battery status are on a circuit board that is badly misaligned with the three 'windows' in the casing, so you can only see whether all three are lit from one very oblique angle. This is not so with the mini angle-grinder from the same series, where all three lights are clear to see from all angles.

Lasted just over a year!

I had mine for just over a year before it would only work in reverse. In that time I probably used it once a month when occasionally I had to route a cable in a difficult place to drill. Really underwhelming power as well, would snag at the slightest of resistance. After looking at other reviews online I realised this is common. Changed to Makita after speaking to a bunch of builders (I believe that's the collective term).

Versatile workhorse

I purchased this to do a series of quite demanding jobs. The drill performed really well at both drilling and screw driving. It's larger than you may guess but got into all of the tight spots that I needed. Also makes a good 75mm sander polisher as it has plenty of power and variable speed.

Very useful bit of kit!

I wish I'd bought one of these years ago! Gets into places you can't with a normal drill-driver and the 5-position head is a great feature (possibly unique to Bosch?).Being 12v it's not going to beat any of the higher voltage rivals on power, but it's done what I needed it to so far and as I already have a couple of Bosch 10.8v/12v tools, it seemed a logical choice.I only gave 3 stars for reliability as I've not had it long enough to tell how robust it is. It does feel solid and sturdy though.

I have had this tool for many years, as a kitchen fitter in almost constant use. as they say a bad workman always blames his tools!!!

not what was expected

I was replacing an old GSR that worked well. This is bigger, the grip is poor. Screwing or drilling sideways is not ergonomic, the whole tool feels clunky. There is no torque setting. Given that I was replacing and old friend, I am disappointed, this is nowhere near as good.
