They don’t make them like they used to!! This doesn’t cut anything like my old one which was an AHS-48 Li. Years old , sadly now too poorly to work . They don’t seem to run at the same speed and ergonomically nothing like as comfortable to use. Selling this and going on eBay to see if I can find a second hand one .

Bought this to replace my old worn out corded hedge trimmer. Chose this as I have other Bosch Power for All tools. My privet hedge is 60ft long, 6ft high and 3ft wide so a lot to trim. This trimmer came with a 2.0 Ah battery and charger so I thought between that and my other 2 batteries I'd get the job done. I started with the fully charged 2.0 battery and never had to change it. It did seem to have stopped a couple at times as I was sorting things but I took battery off and straight back on and it kept on going. It may user error. I was amazed it managed to trim it all, front back and top all in one charge. It didn't have an easy time as some of the shoots were 10ins long but with new sharp blades it seemed effortless. This is my second Bosch cordless hedge trimmer. Sadly the last one died just after a year old but I didn't resent the guarantee off. It had heavy use, and it died.However I usually go with Bosch and this new one is a bit more powerful and I have to say feels stronger. It’s tolerated some heavy use and the battery matches the Bosch cordless strummer which is fab. A good piece of kit.

This hedge cutter is brilliant. It's light, simple to use and the battery charges quickly. I cut a leylandii hedge and also an overgrown hydrangea. The job was so much easier than last year when I used a wired cutter.
Great being able to use them at a minutes notice. Theyre quite lightweight, no trailing wires, and cut well. I can interchange the batteries with my Bosch drill, which is useful.
An excellent hedge cutter nice and light to use. It goes throughs branches and cuts perfectly without any problems and it doesn’t take long to charge the battery up once you have finished using it. I definitely recommend because it’s amazing for the price.
Got this with the Bosch own promotion for a free battery and that was a great bonus! Speaking about the battery life, the battery that comes with the trimmer holds impressive times.The trimmer is very light so holding for prolonged times will not be an issue. Only minor negative point in my eyes would be the front handle design - something others have pointed out. But if the trimmer is held at correct angles, would consider it much of a problem.
