The particularly large blade diameter of 100 mm enables wide cuts in door frames and smaller profiles as well as long cuts at floor level. The teeth, manufactured with the patented Bosch circular welding technology, make wide cuts without jamming or heat discoloration. This exclusive technology is used to weld a wider strip of HSS steel (high speed steel) onto a narrower body of HCS steel (high carbon steel). The result is freestanding, hard teeth. When cutting unhardened metal and abrasive materials, the bimetallic compound of the HCS steel blade (high carbon steel) and HSS steel teeth (high speed steel) is wear and heat resistant and gives the blade a long service life. The tips of the saw blades can also be used to reach corners that are difficult to reach. The Starlock mounting system allows a quick blade change without blade contact in three seconds. The pick-up system allows maximum power transmission between machine and accessories due to its three-dimensional close fit. The blade is compatible with all Starlock, Starlock Plus and Starlock Max power tools as well as all common multifunctional tools.
