We bought a house and the range hood sounded like a plane taking off on it's quietest setting so we set out to get the best we could that was quiet and we found it with this Bosch Series 8 integrated range hood. It looks stylish and performs beautifully. You have to put your ear up to it to make sure it is going. Perfect. Easy to use. Good lighting. Super quiet.

Bosch DHL895DAU 86cm Serie 8 is surprisingly quiet (especially the first and the second settings) and being installed under cupboard makes it very easy to keep clean. It came with the option of ducting it out through an external wall into the atmosphere and after hesitating for a short time we decided to go with it. So glad we did because what I cook in the kitchen cannot be smelt in the en-suit anymore!We are very happy with this product and would definitely recommend it.

Hit lots of supply issues when looking for rangehoods recently, & ended up going with this make & model despite my hesitancy on the price. Can something that sucks air really be that worthy my hard earned $$? Happy to say Ive had no regrets, this unit is easy to use & is so quiet (not whisper quiet, but close). The quality LED lights have been an unexpected delight & add a lot to our everyday cooking experience.
The old rangehood was very loud, and when it finally died, we purchased the Series 8 Integrated Ranghood. Very sleek , quiet, and has good lighting. The filter clean indicatior is a nice bonus. Would recommend the product
I have not yet used the DHL895DAU as we are waiting for it to be installed as part of our renovations.My reason for selecting this Rangehood was it's sleak intgrated design and simplicity in use.I also liked that it gave off good light and was the highest extraction rating compared to other's in store which also meant I would not need to have on highest speed as this is usually loud in other smaller extraction rating options.I will certainly advise if not happy after installation however with Bosch's reputation I do not think this will be required.
This Bosch 86cm Integrated rangehood was purchased as a retrofit into a failed Blanco Rangehood installed in a wall mounted cupboard. My wife & I love the clean, simple modern styling, great extraction, easy to clean in dishwasher dual filters & price point. Will be installing it these Xmas holidays as a do it yourself project.
I wouldnt recommend this rangehood. After installation it worked for 5 minutes, and short circuited my kitchen and tripped our house, including the fridge. The aftersales service from Bosch, as a longstanding Bosch supporter, has left me flabbergasted. No offer to replace or exchange the faulty rangehood upfront. After a month of calls backwards and forwards they have eventually agreed to change it. The process is ongoing with the removal of the old installed unit and installation of the new unit still pending. Bought this appliance in June 2022. Avoid Bosch.
Replacing an old and very noisy competitive brand rangehood, this Bosch unit is a significant upgrade. Firstly it is so quiet! Unlike my old unit, conversation whilst cooking is now possible, even on high speeds. The removal of odours and steam is extremely efficient and the power of extraction can be felt outside at the external vent where you hair gets blown like you are driving a convertable. This unit is robust with a solid feel to the controls and accessible components like the filters. The dimmable LED lighting is simply a bonus. Bosch never lets me down and this unit is another fine example.
This is my second Bosch integrated rangehood. The first one worked weel for over 20 years but was a bit noisy in operation. This updated one is very efficient and much quieter in operation. At the highest speed- used only when stir-frying, for example- it is noisier.My only complaint is about cleaning it. Removing and replacing the filters is easy but cleaning the inside edge of the cover requires an athletic feat as there is a ledge which is good for aaccumulating cooking oil and needs to be regularly cleaned out. It is virtually impossible to actually see inside this ledge to check if it is really clean. As I expect the appliance to last a long time, keeping it clean is very important.
