Why did we wait so long to upgrade to induction? The new Bosch stove is a revelation after cooking with gas. The room stays cool, while it quickly cooks on the induction top. The fine control of temperature and the evenness of the heat across the pan is excellent. We were used to so much trial and error with the previous gas oven and guessing if it will be the right temperature. The new oven is what you want, precisely and quickly up to temperature with more options than we ever had before. Bosch had a good reputation and now we know why. Our house was designed for electric cooking but had been converted to gas, which we appreciated, but the induction top is so easy to keep clean. I have only used it for about a month but I already love the new stove.

Upgrading from an older ceramic freestander, this Bosch cooktop (a week in) is doing a great job. The oven does a great job of evenly cooking. The induction cooktop seems to be working really quickly (as expected). Our only gripe with the ease of use is the cooktop and oven touch control icons are no backlit and are really hard to read, thus the lower score there. We did also get this unit at a much lower price to the RRP, if not we would have dropped this score. Hope Bosch changes this for future models.

I should have paid more attention when purchasing the stove. In the details it says that you need to check with an electrician. And you really do. We had to put in a new power source as they stoves (though lower energy) require larger wattage of power to operate. The stoved ended up costing another $2300 to install. We have an old house with a lower amount of power. If we had known that we would have needed to do that we would have lined it up with an electrician that was cheaper to use for installation. Perhaps the warning should be bigger or emailed out before purchase. Thank you

we bought the 60cm freestanding cooker as we were getting rid of our gas cooktop (still finctioning, but just getting rid of gas from the home). There weren't many 60cm freestanding induction cookers on the market and this one was the most expensive. but glad we got it - heats up super quick on the hob and in the oven, the control is better than gas, and is very easy to clean.lots of functions and cooking modes for the but we mainly use the fan, baking and pizza functions which cook everything as expected. and especially love the timing and auto-off functions. We have had it for a year now, and no problems. Could give a 5-star, but in principle nothing is perfect but this comes close
Very strange of Bing Lee to ask me to review this product.I was about to order an almost identical model, but it was discontinued by Bosch and replaced with this one. (I think there is a slight difference to the shelf system though I'm not sure why that justifies a $700 price increase.)Anyway, I ordered this model from Bing Lee rather than another supplier as the gave the earliest delivery date - end of August. However, it's now September and they say that they have no idea about the delivery date - they will try and let me know some time this month when it is going to be delivered, but can't even promise that.So now they are asking for a review. I wish I could help.If you could send me a sample, I would be happy to review it.
Induction is so much more straightforward than gas, the oven works so well and I love the feature of being able to set a "turn-off time". My old oven didn't have a light and I'm greatly appreciating this basic feature too!
