The tool is great as normal for Bosch BUT the lack of accessories is very dissapointing. I know that I had ordered a bare tool so not expecting the batteries and charger. All I got was the planer, box and inlay. It was missing the chippings collection bag and guide. in the whats in the box list were 5 sets of part numbers but only 3 items delivered, Contacted CM Tools who said that everything was correct but I could buy the bag for ÂŁ22 ish,Seems that all the bits that were previously supplied are now extras, Bit of a con.

Great planer , light surprisingly quiet and well balanced. Power on switch takes a little getting used to but not an issue. Use it with my Festool extractor with bluetooth button. Excellent.
The planer is built to the usual high standards that the Bosch name is associated with. It is balanced well and the adjustment of depth of cut is easy with the turning know at the front of the tool. I love the break so when you release the trigger it just stops so you can put it down quickly. Its not too heavy even with a 6Ah battery attached so its a big thumbs up from me!. The L-Boxx is a great companion of this planer keeping it safe from knocks in transport and storage. Good old dependable Bosch!
After haveng my old planer for years it is amazing what a difference it is to use this. It is very easily manageable and made light work of 8 doors that needed plaining. I did find that if it was on full depth and heavily used the extraction port would get blocked. But easily cleared. Plus such a bonus to have this in the l boxx, makes life easy when it comes to storing with my other bosch tools. Would definitely recommend this all day long.
My corded version of this died a few weeks back after 3 hard years of site work, which gave me the perfect excuse to buy new toys :) I'd been eyeing it up for a year or so, and now its here I'm not disappointed. Light, more than powerful enough for its cut depth, the single knife cutter block aids battery life, i hung 3 doors and shaped some scribes up on one 4.0ah charge. Well impressed, recommended !!
