This sander is much nicer to use than the one it replaced which was the type that has a rectangular plate. It fits nicely in the hand and didn't numb my fingers too badly, though I am wondering if I should have gone for the larger model with a bigger plate. Used outside it doesn't make too much mess, and the little hopper on the back soon fills up. However I shall also be buying the dust extraction attachment before I use it indoors on the walls - a brief test threw up quite the cloud of plaster dust.

Waited for Bosch to release this and it was definitely worth the wait. Excellent tool. Battery life is amazing, quality is excellent. It seems a few people don't rate Bosch - really don't understand why. This is easily as good as the cordless festool rail saw with much better battery life. Rails and accessories are expensive however.

Only had this a few weeks and it’s already gone back to Bosch, the blade is not set up correct with the base, making the back of the blade cut deeper than the front leaving pronounced saw marks and burn marks, also the base is not completely flat.
Why did I not buy this sooner. Such a smooth quiet cut in comparison to my bosch 18v circular saw. This is a fantastic piece of kit. If your considering buying seriously just get it you won't be disappointed.
We have used this saw heavily in the first week of ownership and it has been great on all fronts. Recommend two batteries.

I purchased this a couple of weeks ago and couldn't be happier with its performance, completely impressed with all its additional smart features. The price made me question it at first but would pay again. Perfect combo with the 2 battery's set, lasts forever. Excellent with assisting with removal of floorboards.
