Any laser needs s receiver outdoor use. You can use green enhancement glasses and laser targets to improve outdoor use in lower light situations.These lasers are class3 at <10mW which is as bright as it gets for laser levels.Laser lines outside are very limited in darker conditions.

Very & accurate indoor line laser.Previous reviewer gave lower rating, but this is not an outdoor laser. I have seen line lasers outside that you can't view even 1.5m away. Obviously not the right tool for the job. For outdoor work get a rotating laser and it will go 200m.

This was bought to replace the original red 360° line laser that ended up at work when I went into the office.The green is far more visible
Excellent laser level, very accurate. The 360⁰ mode is an awesome mode, the magnetic stand is a brilliant idea for a door frame in a room or steel column in a building. The unit fits my old tripod from PCL20. Although more expensive, this is an awesome upgrade for my work.
Green laser is very good but the problem starts when I put the universal mount. It is not enough strong, mount spinning easily, wind shakes the level line and this is too annoying. I am not happy because the price is high and we should get a quality product
laser has increase productivity on the job and have completed job alot quicker
I baught this everal months ago. Inside it works great. Outside it is next to useless. I was sold it as being to best unit Bunnings had @ over $600.00. On occasions when used outside I thought that the batteries must have been dead! As an electrician I tested the batteries & they were ok! I then purchased new high output batteries twice. No better results. I have had to return to sites at night just to measure levels accross a 3m driveway. I am very disapointed. When I went back to Bunning Tool Shop I was told to contact the manufacturer. I haven done this yet!
