Great little drill not used it as masonry drill yet but for drilling and screws it is good easy on the hand and not to heavy in the tool bag like bulky battery types although I've not tested it for longevity I've only charged it once at purchase and using it for a couple of weeks now. So far so good and it has the power behind it also for its size impressive.

It’s an amazing little drill at a killer price point. If you have any other 12v Bosch items, then this is an absolute no brainer. I killed my old little drill mixing plaster, and for ages I just got on with life using my big SDS and impact drivers. But after trying to do some smaller jobs of an evening, the SDS wouldn’t fit in the spaces I was working in, and the impact drivers make way too much noise when you don’t wish to annoy your neighbours. Replacement for a very well used older version. Really useful bit of kit as it allows easier access and is very light in comparison to my 18v version. Deceptively powerful.The only reason the older one packed is was because I was using it inappropriately for removing some bolts with a socket adapter and managed to strip the gear box.

Bosch 10.8v drill

This is a great tool, it was purchased to replace one which had been very much abused over the years. They have been powerfull, light and have done everything asked of them. And also compact enough to fit in a small tool pack. The battery life is good. I had spare batteries and a Bosch multi tool so did not need the charger etc. I also have an 18V version which is also great but a little to powerful for screwdriver work unless you are carefull. Great light, good settings for drilling, screwdriving and hammer. The surprise of the 10.8v is that it is also very good at hammer drilling so I can carry a light good all rounder in my tool pack.

Best drills I've purchased perfect for you if work in a workshop or fitting furniture on site. Light weight handy lighting for when you're in a a dark space like inside a carcass. The first one of these drills I purchased 8 years ago and after constant use for that time when it died I didn't hesitate purchased the same one on the very same day!

Great Little Drill

Needed a small DIY level drill to replace my old one and this came with just the drill, no batteries etc as I already had all that. Works great and has a decent amount of grunt to it. Looses a star as the sheer amount of packaging this came in is excessive. Considering it's the drill body only, something more compact would be nice.

Great value

Superb. Very light and powerful. Dont waste your money on the budget combo drills. As for the 12v version, this one will do in semi-pro environments, as long as youre not paid per screw/hole youve drilled. Its a perfect too for art students who do installations and an overkill for DIY.

Lightwieght and powerful

Excellent addition to the superb Bosch 10.8/12V system. Lightweight powerful and cleverly designed. I have lots of their kit (for years) including most of their drills/driver models. Particularly like the hammer feature on this but epecially how they have introduced a separate switch for hammer, drill and driver. Means you can leave the torque setting as is and switch to drill and back again without changing anything else. (quick to drive, then undrive then drive again as needed) Have already used it on masonry work and saves me a lot of time dragging out the mains drill for hammer. Surprising how effective this small unit is. So even if like me you already have a few cordless drills, this is a worthy addition, it will find regular use. Very handy product

I received the tool just today. First of all, the delivery was super fast and prompt. I have already put the tool through some testing. It is very easy to handle, practical and powerful enough to do household maintenance, which is perfect for my purposes. It feels nice and compact in the hand. I recommend the product if you are not looking for some serious power.

Very nice

Great little drill. Surprisingly powerful. Easily drills 30mm wide holes with my forstner or spade bits. Quieter than my 18v Bosch which is nice. I made a pocket/belt clip for it from 2mm spring steel wire. (1.5mm would be easier to work with though) since it seems only the more expensive brushless model has a Bosch-made clip. You can get a holster for this but I'm not a fan of those. I also bought a Wera 052502 Rapidaptor bit holder for it. Adds a little length but makes it super fast to swap out bits with one hand, but still have the bits locked in place so they don't come out after you've screwed something in.
