Nice little dust buster. Perfect for drilling into walls and collecting waste. Not powerful enough for car upholstery realy but that's ok by me. Nood to remove battery if stored with other tools to stop accidentally switching it on. Shame there isn't an isolation switch

Good value and great for small clean ups

The usual brilliant service and good price from Axminster. Good little vacuum for small jobs. We use it for keeping the boat clean and went for this as we have one of the 12v drills already. Not as powerful as a dyson handheld but still decent. The downside for me is the filter design which isn’t easy to clean and will need replacing regularly.

Handy

Obviously you're not going to connect your mitre saw to this.. but I've used it to follow along by a multi cutter on plasterboard and under holes I drilled and it coped. You pretty much have to use it with the fine nozzle but this type of vac to me is for when you think "I have to get the vacuum out... just for that!!" Lint in a corner, crumbs on the counter.. otherwise.. you'll make the effort and get the big guns. It runs for long enough and makes sure my batteries get used regularly (good for them I think??) I'd say whenever you get the main vac out clean the filter on this, using a fork to clean out the pleats helps. It can be tricky to empty. But I needed a little grab and go vac and I was pleased to find one that has a battery I can use in my tools. Please excuse the title but what I mean is that this machine is very quiet in use, so much so that you think that it's under performing which I can tell you it is not! I have numerous Bosch 10.8 and 12 volt tools and this just fits in nicely for my small workshop, it deals very well with saw dust, brick dust and various other small debris. I could only give it mid marks for reliability because I have not had it long. Highly Delighted, thank you.

You need one of these...

This little cordless vacuum is so useful at keeping woodworking dust and shavings to a minimum. The key point is that, as a small cordless tool, it is so easy to clean up regularly that there's no excuse not to. I don't have to walk over to disconnect my dust extractor or uncouple my shop vac and wheel it around dodging obstacles. Instead I keep this extremely light, handheld vacuum on my bench; it's right at hand and has a small but useful capacity for dust. It's quick and easy to empty straight into the bin, no bag. It uses the same 10.8v battery as several of my other tools. The only down side is it drains my 1.5ah batteries fairly quickly so I will probably invest in a 4ah one.
