Great well designed strimmer with plastic wire and metal blade, light, powerful and quiet.Perfect for use around the house and short stints for work. Batteries don't last long which is the flip side. So if you want to strim for over an hour you'll be spending a lot on batteries.

Wow forget the petrol, so easy and powerful
I bought this to tackle heavy duty weeds (teazel and thistle) and the brushcutter worked very well. Battery life pretty good under the circumsatnces
Usual bosch quality, having an allotment, I wanted something that would work as well as a petrol strimmer, I got quite a bit done with a 5Ah battery. My only gripe would be, it's quite long, so a folding or split shaft would make it easier to transport between home and the allotment.
