Will they do the job you want them to do? Yes. Are they 'NEW'? Absolutely not. Basically the left-overs from un-wanted kits. Mine came slightly damaged, dirty, covered in sharpie and highlighter. The stickers will also be from whatever kit they originally were made from. I'm not a tradie, just a home DIY'er so I guess it's a little bit more annoying for me as it wouldn't be getting used and abused as it would be with a tradie. As I said, it will do the job, but if you like new stuff to actually be NEW, then you'll be disappointed.

If I had less tools I would use the inlay, I got some sound damping foam on site (8mm thick) and cut it for the top and bottom of the boxes and everything is secure inside the cases with no bouncing around of the tools in the cases. But now I need to buy the Bosch trolly so I don't have a heavy tool backpack and a heavy case in each hand to lug about.

I have several tools from the 12v Bosch Professional range, with a couple of chargers and several batteries, already in the L-BOXX system. I did not need more batteries, or a charger; therefore I purchased an angle grinder and jigsaw as bare items in cardboard boxes; included in several of the cardboard box packages, (though not all, notably the 12v circular saw) the items come nestled in the plastic trays that fit the L-BOXX system. The L-BOXX system allows several boxes to clip together for storage and transport, meaning that selecting specific tools for a job, or taking them all 'just in case' is really simple. This is a great system for the type of work that I do, small, detailed jobs that do not need production-line worthy, heavy duty, mains-powered tools, but ... MoreI have several tools from the 12v Bosch Professional range, with a couple of chargers and several batteries, already in the L-BOXX system. This seems better than the original l-boxx simply because you can open a box lower down a stack without unclipping all the ones above first. The plastic mouldings are precise. They are light weight rather than heavy duty. If you can get them for a good price, then I think they can be good value. I squeeze three smaller sized cordless impact / drill / drivers, a charger and a couple of spare batteries into a 136 size
Received one of these with my bosch drill and I thought it would make sense to get some more for the rest of my Bosch powertools however they are not like the DeWalt, Stanley, packout and other tool storage systems. The boxes are made of very thin plastic and the hinges seem extremely fragile , I've got about 3 powertools inside it and don't really want to pick it up incase the lid just rips off.Bosch say you can stand on these boxes however I sat on it once (I weigh 10.5 stone) and I could hear the kid cracking underneath me.The trolley for these boxes is pretty crappy too , it folds away nicely but the boxes aren't secured in place they just have a little guide to align the box.I thought these would be perfect since all my tools are Bosch however I wouldn't ... MoreReceived one of these with my bosch drill and I thought it would make sense to get some more for the rest of my Bosch powertools however they are not like the DeWalt, Stanley, packout and other tool storage systems. When Bosch came up with their new line of storage, they somewhat solved a problem that didn't exist. The level of interlocking, extra handles, custom inserts, style etc etc, all comes at a rather exorbitant price. As with most Bosch things, you really have to pay out for them. The system is highly complicated if you decide to buy an empty box like this one, then buy the correct insert, you can end up paying much more than if you'd bought your power tool in the box to start with. Personally I think the quality is there, but at a price you have try to justify.
