We bought this two months ago and absolutely love it. The two large gas elements are great. It isn't cramped and each element is very useable. It is very hot but there are lots of settings to control the tempature. Cleaning is easy.

Bought from Hvnmn and installed in December 2021. Works well. No issues. Plenty of burners. Very useful in Sri Lankan cooking cause one meal has multiple curries. Multiple large burners enable parallel cooking saves cooking time. Happy wife. Happy..
After owing the cooktop for approximately 2 years I thought I would write this review. The cooktop quality and functionality are everything I expected from a Bosch product. My only issue is with the design layout. When I set out looking for a replacement for my old cooktop one thing I wanted was a wok burner on the outside as I thought it rediculous that a wok burner be located in the middle of the appliance. This cooktop seemed perfect, although I didn't really need 2 large wok burners. After using the appliance for 2 years I have found it a little frustrating that there are 2 large wok burners and the smallest of the six burners between them at the front of the appliance. After using the appliance for 2 years I have found it a little frustrating that there are 2 large wok burners and the smallest of the six burners between them at the front of the appliance. The frustration is that the 2 levels (3 and 4) of burners on the Wok burners are either too high or too low for something like a large frypan. Because the rear burners are too far back to properly centre a large frypan, I find myself trying to use one of the large wok burners (the centre front is way too small) and jugging with settings 3 & 4 to keep the temperature at the level I want. Keeping it on level 4 (inside and outside burners at once) is too high and level 3 is too low (small inside burner only).In my oppinion, one of the front burners should have been a medium size burner where you can put a large frypan and keep it an appropraite temperature setting.It could have replaced 1 of the wok burners or the centre front Burner. I never seem to use both wok burners at the same time. I can't imagine why I would. And in fact the small burner, at the front, is probably better placed at the rear as you will only ever put a small pot on it. Perhaps it is at the front so you don't have to reach over it to get to the larger pots. I get that perhaps.I still don't see the need for 2 wok burners, so I think one should be replaced.
The kitchen and the range power and size are one of the key elements of our decision to acquire our new place. The first time I saw Bosch 6 Gas Hob, I fell in love with this and since then it always making my life easy cooking. This is so easy to operate, with a quick ignition that I can easily start multi cooking. Excellent in handling different types of cooking, because of its range and power. Though always in use and on fire, this can easily maintain and clean with just simple swipe. I will never get tired of cooking with my Bosch!
I just love this cook-top. The two powerful wok burners are a great help and I rarely go to my dedicated wok burner anymore. Often wok burners are just larger burners and aren't really hot enough for real stir frying but not these. The numbered graduated dials are also great as I can remember exactly where to set my burners for specific tasks.
Am thrilled with the flame select. I always had trouble before getting the right degree of flame - and this now clicks to exact points. It also seems to go lower and be much more useful for simmering and very low heat. I love the clean clear lines which are easy to clean. The only downside is that instinctively I want to ignite the units by turning the dial clockwise, and to turn it off by going anti-clockwise. The opposite is the case here and it is quite tricky to remember. Is there a reason for this? But honestly, this is a superb cook top and I'm thrilled with it.
Igniting the elements requires the safety thermocouple to sense heat from the flame or the gas will turn off. You often have to press the igniter for up to 30 seconds to get the flame to stay on. Apart from being annoying it is probably shortening the life span of the appliance. If I had known I would have looked for one without this feature. Wifey wants her 25yr old cooktop back.
The wok burners do not remain alight reliably, as expected, after 10 seconds of knob depression. The other burners light first time, everytime.Another person has few problems with the wok burner, while I have no luck after repeated attempts. The gas goes out instantly I remove my hand from the knob. This applies equally to both wok burners. A real annoyance. A service call resulted in replacement of both wok thermocuples. The problem was NOT solved. Sadly, this is the first Bosch product that I have found to be less than excellent. Other than this, the hob is OK.
