Looks Fantastic . Does all the things a microwave should do. Soft touch door opener is great. Programming end of cycle tone to short beep time is a good feature. Easy to install as it replaced a built in Bosch. Not cheap, but a good investment when you look at it and use it everyday.

This is a beautiful looking appliance that fits our kitchen perfectly. Chose this to be built in with our cabinetry and looks great. Works really well as a traditional microwave. I haven’t tried to grill feature yet. My son gets frustrated because you have to dial up the time rather than push button but it doesn’t bother me. So far so good.

As far as integrated microwaves go there’s no doubt the Series 6 looks fantastic.However... everything said & done it is low power at only 900w max. and really is very short on features.For a $1200 unit you are paying for the look, not functionality. Form over function as designers say.Is it good quality? Yes. Does it work reliably? Yes. Does it look good? Yes.But frankly... it’s terrible value for money.
This is my first Microwave and I use it everyday now. Very slick, stylish and quiet. Super easy to warm or cook anything at all. The times up beep, is very subtle. I am pretty exacting and picky, cant find any negatives at all. 5 star.
Great oven but the auto door (via a button press) fails once every few weeks. It means the door won’t open. Bosch Instructions suggest a reset so it is clearly a recognised fault - which does fix the issue at the time. The Problem is that - to reset - you need to power off at the main switch. And because this is built in , this isn’t that easy to do and can be problematic with a hot drink or food inside. Called Bosch and they’ve arranged a service. Will see....
I have been asked to review this Bosch builtin microwave. I can't comment on the performance of the appliance as it is not installed yet, but the device from Appliances online was excellent, so hopefully if there is any problems with the microwave I will receive the same good service.

Twice in a short period of time the magnetron died and to repair it a second time @ $600.00 was not on the cards. There were also other issues with it.I did a lot of research and found this Bosch BEL554MSOA built-in microwave had dimensions that would fit my cabinet. The reviews were good and the pre-purchase advice I got from appliancesonline was excellent. The price was also much lower than the electrical stores. It has a 3-pin electrical plug and I installed it myself by sliding out the Smeg and sliding in the Bosch.
