WOW!I bought this as it seemed safer and smaller than a 10 inch petrol chainsaw as I was a new user.I have a massive row of conifer trees which are about 2inch to 5 inch in diameter.This saw is AMAZING!Ok it’s not a petrol saw that runs really fast but as a battery saw it had cut through everything I have attempted with ease!.It’s solid and well made and easy to fit the chain.If you want a saw for the garden which will saw through 4 inch trunks and thick branches then buy this saw.I am really impressed!!!

A powerful little machine to help keep the garden tidy

This is a powerful little machine which helps to reduce time spent keeping the garden tidy. I used to use a manual saw to cut back overgrown branches and thicker bushes but, not being 21 anymore, found it tiring and time consuming. This chainsaw cuts through such jobs with minimum effort. Assembly is straight forward and it feels safe to use. Just be careful where you store the chainsaw as the lubricating oil will eventually drip out from the reserve - not a design fault, just gravity doing its thing.

Good lightweight chainsaw I used to cut back a large bush in the garden. Manufacturer instructions could have been better. Had to look up an online video to put the chain on correctly, but that's the only complaint. Very competitive price and quick delivery.

Excellent for smaller jobs

Having suffered the inconvenience of trailing cables for years (that won't reach some places) I resolved to find a different solution - and preferably one without the noise and fumes of a petrol chain saw. Battery operated ones can be expensive (especially as most of them - unlike this one - don't come with the battery) but this seems to be a great compromise if you don't need to cut large logs.and trees. As another reviewer remarks, the end-guard does further reduce the effective cutting range, but if you can live with this it's a great solution. It's light, relatively quiet, charges quickly and cuts well. Good for small work

Wanted to get a product that i could use to cut up small branch's and logs without having to use a petrol saw.This is very capable of this and the tip on the end doesn't stop you. But after 6 or 7 cuts on a 10cm thick branch the battery low light popped up and it was all stop for an hour while it charged.I think this may be down to the 2.5ah battery supplied, I am going to invest in another "bare" tool in the range and also purchase a 4ah or 6ah battery and see if this improves cut time.It your just cutting 4 to 5cm branch or hedge then will last much longer. Good quality chainsaw

Good quality mini chainsaw(as i like to put it) not as powerful as regular petrol chainsaws obviously but for small tasks it gets the job done nicely. The guard on the front is a tad annoying but this more feels like a gauge to make sure you don't try to saw anything to meaty as the motor isn't that powerful on this, so too put push back it'll stall. Good for small branches and tasks like cutting bunches of brambles like i used it for. Or cutting up an old shed. Reccomend this to anyone doing light cutting work.Does come with battery and charger. Only one i could find that does. Battery lasts a good 45 mins. But charges pretty quickly.

Great small chainsaw

Really pleased with this chainsaw. It is small so easy to handle for a beginner and is the usual Bosch high quality. Don’t expect it to cut down big trees but I have lots of self seeded silver birch and it copes well with these; cuts them down and cuts them into logs. I also liked the simplicity of setting it up. Handbook easy to follow and no complications.

Keeps its promises of beautiful entry-level

Very effective when used within the limits recommended by its technical sheet. It is not a tool for cutting large trees, but surprisingly strong and robust for medium logs up to 25 cm in diameter. Light and nice, very intuitive and ergonomic assembly, quality found in principle on the whole Bosch range. Particularly relevant when you no longer have the strength to carry out major work, allows you to gain autonomy in this sense. In short, a true ally of senior women and men. Little noisy, nice for the neighbors.

Sublime Chainsaw

This cordless chainsaw is AWESOME! I have used it to cut tree branches of three huge trees in my garden. Easy to set up and instruction manual provides good information on handling the machine. Superb battery life when using the saw. Only one hour to fully charge so you can have a break and get back to work within an hour's timeframe. I love Bosch products. Great quality and well worth the money. Cordless helps as the 3 trees are seperated over a large space in the garden. Makes light work of sawing brunches to smaller chunks on a Saw Horse.
