On one hand: it does its job well. It has great sucking power, for just 1000w. It's compact and nicely designed. It can also be used as a regular household vacuum cleaner.On the other hand - there's a flaw in it's construction - it has a hole between the hose and a bag (this hole is used on a bigger model - AndancedVac 20, but on UniversalVac 15 it's just left open), so the dusk always gets sucked in between the bag and filter. So, you've seal it yourself (it took me 15 minutes, and now all the dusk only goes into the bag)What does worry me a lot is that Mitre10 isn't bothered to sell the filters, so you're gonna be left on your own, looking for a replacement for the filter. Even, the bags are not widely sold here, I need to drive across Auckland to buy ones :(

my evaluation of the vacuum cleaner is 3. the vacuum cleaner has one positive answer - the sset is very good. bad - very noisy, the electric cable is short, the plastic handle is very flexible and not comfortable (it can easily break). Bosch should be the best, but Henry's regret is better. or rather the best. I want to return your vacuum cleaner ...

After years of using this style of vacs and years of throwing them out or just throwing them , i will never buy a metal bodied vacuum again ,where the tops fall off, the bags don’t line up . Now the Bosch is on the small side but for the price is the best made shop vac around ,everything is sturdy and fits well ,packs up compact ,and also attaches to tools fairly easily if you want to as well . If your after a shop vac for a low price but want quality don’t even think twice, just go and buy the Bosch

Works as it is supposed to. I bought it as it easily connected to my various Bosch tools for dust extraction. Coped well with Gib dust after gib stopping.
Vacuums water. Steams. No suction. I turn it off. I spend more time waiting for it to let me vacuum more water
PRO : Compact for a drum style vacuum. affordable not to noisy CON : Not as much suction as I was expecting from the cubic meter rating. small diameter hose blocks easier than larger ones not much surface area of the filter, smaller than Ryobi.
Great Vac for Wet and Dry. We are on a farm, light coloured carpets need a good vaccum cleaner. With the rains here there is usually somewhere that gets wet. The games room, a vehicle or outdoor dinning area mats and chairs. To have a wet and dry vacuum cleaner on hand. Grateful for this good, affordable product! Im a trades person so I need tools thatll stand up to the abuse I give them. As a plasterer I already use multiple Bosch tools for my job. I like to stick to Bosch and Dewalt. This hoover is extremely powerful. I havent used it yet for fluids but Im sure thatll be soon with a spilt bucket or such! Bummer that you only get one bag in the box but the full set of tools on the actual hoover is great. Yes the power lead is fairly short but Ive always got an extension on site with me so no big deal. Typical Bosch quality!
I was really excited after reading the reviews- Plugged it in ready to go -THEN NOTHING! Plastic flimsy parts - The foot does not retract for carpets so it just jams into the floor! So fricken annoyed - Will be returning this useless thing tomorrow!! DONT BUY!
