Very happy with our new machine easy to use, very quiet, happy with the service of the sales representatives. Our only concern was the machines feet were not level on delivery causing the machine to flood the floor after our first 2 washes. Again the service reps were superb they would send someone to look may take a few days that team would bring a new washing machine with them ( did I mention we are VERY rural) if they could not get the present one working properly it would be replaced with the new one. AMAZING SERVICE. my partner had another look realised the machine was not level levelled it with a spirit level. We did 2 washes NO leaks. Called the boys at the service desks to cancel the team that was going to come. Have had the washing machine for 6 months. The ordering and delivery was fantastic. The delivery and removal of the old machine was smooth and efficient. The delivery person gave a demonstration of how to use the machine and was mindful of the communal carpet in the apartment building hall and elevator and ensured there was no water leakage from the old washing machine on the carpet. I braved it and got my first front loader. I had been terrified as people have just given me bad stories but Consumer and the team at Appliance Plus converted me. This machine was the top rated by Consumer Magazine and I see why. It is smart looking and fabulous. I find it very easy to use and super quiet. Being able to do loads in 1 hour is awesome as I have 6 loads at least every weekend. The machine spins things so well that my washing is not taking as long to dry either. I am officially in love with my washing machine now.The only improvement I can think of is I wish it had the option of saving a favourite setting as I prefer to wash in cold water so would like to have that set instead of lowering the temperature everytime. I have only had this machine 3 weeks. Garment washing, selection of appropriate programmes and various options is very easy. The only issue I have is with the washing of towels, which has been noted in other reviews. I believe it is an issue with a lot of front loaders. I have very, very soft towels that are a number of years old but have always retained their original condition. First wash in the front loader and they came out & dried like cardboard. I had to soak them in softener for 24 hours to revive them, although not to their original condition. I had reduced the spin, added a rinse but was not happy with the result. I will persevere and hopefully find a solution.
Good machine. Happy with the performance and various washing program options. . However, the power cord is too short. The machine sits right next to the wall with the power connection above it (around 24 inches from the top of the machine). The machine power cord is too short to reach the power socket while my old machine doesnt have this problem. Does not feel safe with having to connect the machine with the power extension cord so it can reach the power socket on the wall. The machine operates by using cold water inlet only. Makes me wonder how much energy being used in order to heat up the water for the wash.

For example, it will take only 4kg of a mixed load (if memory serves). Would be handy if the display indicated how many kgs one has loaded into the machine. Installation by the Good Guys was okay, but had a few areas for improvement. They informed us of roughly when they were coming and texted to indicate when they were approaching. The machine looked level, but I caught it rocking a few days after they left. One of the adjustable feet had the lock nut tightened against the foot itself, which was wrong it should have been tightened against the bottom of the washer. I took the foot off, loosened the lock nut, then readjusted the machine. It now does not rock. So, installation process was good in that the old machine was sent to recycling, packing materials were taken away, and the machine was hooked up - and the installation service was free. However, there were those three hiccups. Perhaps, I should not look a gift horse in the mouth.

Every shop I looked at the machines powered up so it was very easy to check the actual cycle time for our desired settings in the shop (before purchasing), so this shouldn't come a big surprise for anyone.I also read a complaint (in one of the reviews) about this machine making so much noise on completion that it couldn't be used at night because it woke the whole house up. I have no idea how this would be possible The machine makes a short double beep (that is softer than our Panasonic microwave's end-noise) that is repeated 3 or 4 times. The beep volume can apparently also be changed but I have seen no need to do this. The machine also has a feature where it can be set to finish by a specified time (eg. finish by 7am, so it will start itself so that the cycle finishes by that time). Perhaps some people just like complaining The 10kg capacity may be misleading because the only cycles/programmes that actually take 10kg are the "standard" cotton-type cycles (from memory). Most other cycles are somewhat reduced. All of this information is in the manual which can be downloaded pre-purchase.
I was nervous to go with a Bosch not made in Germany but used the Choice guide, many online reviews and crossed fingers and bought this one for its water and power efficiency and gentleness on clothing as I was a lot of linen, cotton, wool, and silk. I couldn't be happier. The first few times I used it I had to go in to check it was still working as it is so quiet. The shorter delicate cycles wash very well without damaging my clothing and there is a lot of flexibility with longer programs to add presoaking or washing, to use a lower or higher temperature etc. I am happy there is a dial to select functions as I can just leave it on my preferred wash and there is less to go wrong with too large an arrange of touch buttons. I don't normally use Bosch, but after my last 2 LG Washing Machines dying (1 lasted for 11 years and the other one only lasted for 2 years and 3 months) my husband suggested with Bosch. I was very reluctant at first but just went with it....and was surprised at how much better this unit washed my clothes. Unfortunately it doesn't have the functionality of linking the washing machine to the internet like my old LG where I got notifications when the washing machine was finished - but I'm happy with what so far seems like a more higher quality unit. In the interests of fairness, the heat pump and filter are really good, but that is as far as it goes. The shortest cycle is 40 mins, but it only dries thoroughly if the load is 1-2 kg.Sheets and towels are the worst! Sheets always wrap themselves into a ball, the inner part ending up being wet, the outer dry. It doesn't matter how often you rearrange them over the cycle. Consequently it takes around 3 hours to get them dry.
