Needed to get a second set up for our lives shows and knew it had to be a Bose. Ordered at the end of June and of course received free shipping. This L1 is lighter than my original Bose but just as powerful. The Sub is a little bigger than the original and it packs a punch. While I don't like the placement of the Sub and Electrical Cord inputs in the back of the base of the unit, I'll live with it. The unit met my expectations and would recommend this product to anyone looking for this type of PA.

L1 pro 16 is can plays music & karaoke all in one , easy to move its every where you want because it's just 1 piece , its excellent sounds & powered bass ! It's replaced my old system with 2 speakers, 2 speaker stands, 1 amplifier mixer, 1 equalizer, subwoofer & bunch of cables

I use my Pro 8 in a 40x60 ft room. I wasn't even at half volume and it was plenty loud. Beautiful sound my friend Scott Carl ..has purchased the pro-32 since I got mine. . It makes the old school open mics equipment totally outdated for beautiful sound. . you can walk behind the speaker around the speaker No feedback... In the monitor behind the speaker is awesome...

Is a great product. Sounds superb and is perfect for most of my applications. I got it with the intent of replacing all stage setup and it just fell short of that. The biggest issue has been placement. Most of the venues Ive been at, placing the speaker behind the band wouldnt have worked due to the stage layout. Still, It did eliminate the need for monitors for everyone in front of the drum riser. Mixing on them was a little strange. Make everything flat and try not to make too extreme tone adjustments. Try more cutting than boosting.Its exceeded my expectations and are much smaller and lighter than the previous FOH I had.
I have been using the L1s for well over a decade, around the building in spaces large and small, and outside for gatherings of all sizes. The brilliance of this speaker in delivering consistent sound to people anywhere in the room is hard to capture in words, other than 'magic'! This new version manages to pack the same robust sound into just 8 speakers, seriously reducing the footprint of the previous model, as well as solving some of my issues with blocking the bottom set of speakers with a chair on the previous model. The wireless capabilities are taking the old remote control onto a new level, and I am very excited about bluetooth addition.
I ordered the Bose L1 Pro16 on a Tuesday afternoon and it arrived 2 days later!!!! The performance of the Pro16 is superb, plenty of high quality audio with lots of volume!! I am also thinking about ordering another one from Vidlogix!!!
I am Running a Full Band ,Midi & Audio Tracks with Digital Performer 10. I am also using a Fractal FM9 and and have live vocals through the L1 Pro32. I perform on cable and live Gigs. The L1 Model 2, That I still have still sounds great but, the L1 Pro 32 is a giant step-up. It is Great at any volume level and the 60% less weight makes this a clear winner!
