I get quite excited when I get a chance to talk about these headphones. I’ll explain why. As a female with smaller ear holes it is very difficult finding headphones or earbuds which fit properly. Now add this with someone who has extreme no sensitivity and someone who adores music… I really was looking for something that would blow everything else out of the waters. Now my favourite earbud headphones have always been the old-school and OG Apple headphones are ones with the wire. To be honest those always stayed intact the longest and provided great audio quality. I would from time to time use MKG headphones which were also great but also didn’t have a lot of money to spend on a really good quality headphone. My first Bose headphones were the QC 35i I believe ... MoreI get quite excited when I get a chance to talk about these headphones. I’ll explain why. My first Bose headphones were the QC 35i I believe and those were great. They were comfortable to wear during long flights which I had to take frequently for school (yes money was still very tight) and they lasted a while. I probably would still have those now if they were not stolen. I thought point I decided to do some research and looked at the Sony‘s and these ones. Granted I had not tried the Sony headphones and compare them to these. I did a lot of research, wait out the pros and cons and went to head and bought the 700s. Man was it the best decision I’ve ever made with tech. These headphones are great in the following ways: 1. The band that goes over your head is extremely comfortable. For women, putting our hair in ponytails or buns or I’ve been anyway cause there’s a lot of pressure and hair damage on your head especially where is the location of ponytails usually are the High ones at least. These headphones have a very soft silicone type material at the top of the band which creates a very comfortable landing of the band on one’s head. Because it’s soft it goes around the contours of a persons head and I’ve honestly I’ve had these on for 12+ hours and have not had complaints or really feel them on at all. 2. The noise cancelling on these headphones is absolutely impeccable. I cannot stress this part enough. As someone who has extreme noise sensitivity and a lot of deadlines these headphones have been a savior. Believe it or not I often turn the headphones on and don’t even listen to anything because the noise cancellation on these headphones are that good. To add you can customize the noise cancelling effect either through one button on the left side of the ear or through the app or through the voice command which ranges from 0 to 10 I believe. They seriously block out everything and have been the reason why I am now on my third pair (my first pair was taken without as by my ex but my second pair I gifted to my brother because I knew he’d appreciate them). 3. The headphones themselves are touched based with the exception of the on off, Bluetooth, noise cancellation buttons. Where you want to turn the volume up you just simply slide your finger up alongside the right side of the cuff in the volume goes up. It definitely gives an easier user interface where it’s not too complicated and simplistic enough for anyone to be able to use. 4. I really enjoy the design on these headphones. Their light years ahead of its time and despite hearing some buzz that a new version is coming out which I won’t lie I’m quite excited about, I truly truly forsee myself using these until they are no longer working which I hope never happens design is headphones is very sleek, structured yet again very simplistic it was made for comfort but also make a statement while maintaining its functionality. 5. Now the most important thing would be the sound quality… There are two components to this part. The first is the app. The bus app that connected to the headphones also allows you to adjust your base and everything else depending on your preference. Someone who enjoys a wide range of music and also just a general music lover, voice and sound quality is impeccable you hear music how it was meant to be heard. Second where I am using the headphones during a call I have always been told from the person on the receiving end that they haven’t heard crisper and clear voice quality from someone using headphones As much as with these. I’ve also been told that these headphones reduce a lot of background noise that might arise when in busier areas which is great. 6. My only want with these headphones Is that I wish they were trackable given their price. Other those products can be tracked through the bose app. I do wish that these had that functionality. Despite this anyone who I’ve introduced these headphones to have been mind blown as to how amazing they are. Many of which have retired their headphones of choice, which may or may not be the other ‘B’ company of headphones, and have moved to the Bose family. For this reason they’re truly a two and one especially post pandemic and work from home set ups. Depending on what else comes out and whether the next Bose headphones are a true step up I will probably continue to purchase these headphones and tell Bose no longer makes them.

Comfort:Comfortable, usually headphones feel like plastic clamping with rattling and feels cheap (even xm4s are like this abit), the clamping for the bose 700 is perfect and feels premium and not plastic, clampings on the weaker side and is heavy so when doing bench press, it would slip off very easy.Sound:Range is good, especially vocals (mids) and treble, bass is lacking but clean, but isn't very deep like the xm4. Bose noise canceling headphones are a great choice for those looking to block out external noise and immerse themselves in their music or other audio content. The bass response is tight and controlled, and the highs are crisp and clear. The noise canceling technology does not interfere with the audio quality at all, and in fact, it actually enhances the listening experience by blocking out external distractions. One potential downside of these headphones is the price, as they tend to be on the pricier side compared to other options on the market. However, for those willing to invest in a top-of-the-line noise canceling experience, the Bose headphones are well worth the cost. Overall, the Bose noise canceling headphones are a top-notch choice for those who prioritize comfort, noise canceling technology, and high-quality audio. They may be a bit expensive, but they offer excellent value for the price.

The sound cancelation on the 700s is excellent, as would be expected from bose, and they're reasonably comfortable to wear for a long period of time. However, there are a couple of negative features relative to the QC 45. One is battery life; battery life of the 700 is only about 80% that of the QC45 (~20 hrs for the former and 25 for the latter). The second negative feature is really annoying; the noise cancelation system for the 700 won't work if you connect to the source via the cable. Sound will come through the cable, but then the noise cancelation turns off. Imagine shelling out $379 dollars to buy some state of the art headphones in preparation for an international flight, and then realizing the noise cancelation won't work when you plug your cable in. Imagine shelling out $379 dollars to buy some state of the art headphones in preparation for an international flight, and then realizing the noise cancelation won't work when you plug your cable in. You have to sit there for hours and and hours listening to the thin sound barely getting through the rumble of the plane. The 700 is more comfortable than those earbuds they hand out, but the sound isn't any better. In case you think I am wrong, and don't know how to use them or got a defective pair, neither is the case. I just spent 30 minutes on the phone with Bose technical support, and they confirmed that noise cancelation won't work with the audio cable. You need to buy a Bluetooth transmitter. Why even include the cable? It's insane. The wire worked fine with the QC45. I really don't understand why their best flagship headphones would abandon such an obviously useful feature. So disappointed.
I've been wanting to get a pair of Bose headphones again for years. I had an old wired pair probably 20 years ago that were absolutely amazing.Noise Cancellation: I've never been a huge fan of noise reduction and how it works - I personally find it to be disorienting. However, this doesn't give me vertigo because I can tone it down. If I set it to 50% or 60%, it still significantly reduces outside noise while not giving me vertigo.Sound Quality: I'm a broadway credited audio engineer that previously designed and installs sound systems on board cruise ships and theaters. I'm incredibly picky with what I buy. I don't just look for sound quality, I look for a balance of product build quality, sound quality, warranty. This headset is VERY comfortably, it's not fatiguing to listen through, and its battery feels like it lasts forever between charges.Other headsets by other companies focus on bass, or mid range, or high end to have their "unique sound", whereas Bose really went for the option of having a flat tonality to it with this headset. You can also somewhat configure the tonality using a 3-band parametric EQ, although it doesn't really tell you much about what it's doing so I'm not sure how helpful it is overall. I personally found "Flat" to be similar to Adam A7X reference monitors. The downside: You can't charge it and use it at the same time. Plugging the USB-C cable in shuts it down to charge.
I had a pair of Bose wireless headphones for several years that I used for work and travel. I LOVED them and replaces the earcups when they started falling apart. I noticed a few months ago they were having issues staying connected to my laptop which got really annoying when in virtual meetings. I went to replace them with the current "45" version and the salesperson talked me into upgrading to 700s instead. I wish I would have just got the 45 as I intended. The sound on these is good but not great. I honestly think my old ones had better quality. The volume slide usually works, but sometimes I don't get my finger in the right spot, and it takes a moment to adjust. The noise cancelling seems to be better than my old ones but can't compare to the 45s. What I don't ... MoreI had a pair of Bose wireless headphones for several years that I used for work and travel. The noise cancelling seems to be better than my old ones but can't compare to the 45s. What I don't like about the 700s is the fit. The ear cups don't feel as comfortable as my old ones, but this may be the trade-off for the improved noise canceling. I also don't like how the band over the head is kind of slippery and, on occasion has slid off the back of my head if I didn't position perfectly. Also, I've had a few colleague mention in meetings that the sound isn't great where I either sound distant or cut in and out. I use these while at my desk about 1.5 feet from my laptop, and I'm not moving around, so this shouldn't be an issue. Unfortunately, I bought these at Best Buy and cannot return them. Lesson learned. Hopefully it's a software issue on my laptop and will be fixed when I upgrade my laptop in a few weeks, otherwise these headphones are a bust for me.
There is really nothing I dislike about these headsets! First off, I prefer the Bose Noise Cancelling ear buds and have 2 sets. Just not a fan of having my hair crushed down by over the head sets. But, I was taking a trip to Japan and the ear buds start to irritate my ears just a bit after about 3 hours so I wanted 13+ hour comfort. Boy did I find it with these headsets! No discomfort at all, No irritation, just lightweight perfection. AND the battery lasts 20 hours - more than enough for my entire trip! American Airlines, in First Class, offers a very expensive, high dollar set of headphones which I tried. However, these Bose where far more comfortable and the audio clarity was superior. First off, I prefer the Bose Noise Cancelling ear buds and have 2 sets. Just not a fan of having my hair crushed down by over the head sets. Glad I brought these for the long trip! At first I wanted the Bose version that comes with the USB adapter for my laptop. Some people reported phone calls and other laptop communication is not good with these without the USB adapter - WRONG!!! I now constantly use these for conference calls on my laptop, perfect clarity and connection - zero need to the USB. Glad I didn't pay the extra $50 and then have to keep track of that USB device. The sound quality is amazing, love the functionality with the Bose App on my phone, comfort is incredible - extremely happy with this purchase!
These headphones are amazing. The sound quality is amazing, the comfort is top-tier, and the noise cancellation is ridiculously good. Pass through works very well too. They have a very nice finish, with a sturdy frame that is quite difficult to scratch or mess up unless you really try to. It has a very futuristic and nice design, but it also makes them very comfortable. I am always amazed with the noise cancellation on these headphones. A friend of mine recently got the Sony WH1000XM5s, and honestly I do think these are better. These have better noise cancelling capabilities and better bass. And I think the overall sound quality between those 2 headsets are comparable and very similar. I think that these are the best all around headphones on the market. The only thing I don’t really like about these are the clenching force. When you first get these headphones, the clenching force is quite tight, but loosens up overtime. I wish they were a little bit more loose around my ears, but I am still able to wear them for hours on end comfortably and it doesn’t bother me. I also find the earcups to be quite small, but my ears still fit well around them. There is a lot more to these headphones, so I would recommend watching a couple YouTube videos for a comprehensive analysis on the specifications on these headphones. Overall: 9/10.
Overall, this is a VERY worthy choice, one of the best three on the market for consumer use (calls, general listening, noise cancellation). Not up to reference level listening, though, and the battery life is fairly weak compared to competition, so be prepared for that. Otherwise, they are well worth the purchase price and will perform superbly for most people. Compared to the Airpods Max, and the Sony WH10004, it is VERY similar. In the middle of the three for sound, more stable BT connection than the Sony, cheaper and likely more reliable than the APM, and with comparable NC and transparency modes, but it is the weakest of the three for battery life by a fair amount, getting 4-6 less hours rated, but more like 8 less under actual use.PROS:-Excellent sound at ... MoreOverall, this is a VERY worthy choice, one of the best three on the market for consumer use (calls, general listening, noise cancellation). Although they charge quickly, this could be a significant detractor for some users, especially those who intend to use them away from home a lot where charging may not be readily available.
BOSE sound is STILL the Best sound out there. I checked out the noise canceling effect by turning the volume on the headset pretty low and I turned the soundbar on my television set very high. I also turned on my Nest Hub Max Netflix movie on the highest volume which was right next to me and my headphones and I couldn't hear anything except what was coming out of the headphones! So they do actually cancel out any other noise except for the ones coming out of the headset. I also noticed the plush, soft cushioning upon the ears that makes you not ever want to take them off! The headband is fully adjustable. There is a complete kit within the box which includes a nice zipper case to store the headphones and when not in use, a sturdy power cord, an extra Bluetooth connectivity cord Plus a cleaning cloth which really comes in handy if you buy the silver pair that I did! It sounds like you're in a concert. People can be yelling at you fairly close to you when you're taking a call and those sounds are blocked out! Not only does Best buy have a great warranty for these but you also have the BOSE warranty with all of their products that you buy! It's a win-win situation you simply can't go wrong and the best money I believe I've ever spent. The headband is fully adjustable whether you have a tiny head or a big fat watermelon head you'll be totally comfortable. Google News number one article for a week ran that the best price for these particular headsets were the least expensive at Best buy, my favorite retail store without exception!
