They simple do not fit. Installation requires you to apply precise pressure on nine tiny "clips" to hold the cushion in place. At most I could get two to hold briefly, but then they fall out again, There is no mark to even show where the clips are. But no amount of pressure will get them to "clip" because they are poorly designed and manufactured. Just buy some decent quality headphone and not these Bose ones which have cups which start to disintegrate after very little use and then can't be replaced.

Fairly easy to install, really extends the life of the headphones. These are the second replacements I've purchased for my wireless headphones, and am on the third for my noise-cancelling version. If anything, it shows how long-lasting the QuietComfort series is. (I have white wireless, blue wired, black noise cancelling wired, silver noise-cancelling wireless, and wireless Ultras).All headphones still work great, despite being many years old and used daily. Battery life still lasts at least all day.

A few months back I purchased a replacement pair of ear cushions on Amazon which were not Bose I sent back the non-brand replacement back and ordered the original ear cushion replacements from Bose directly. I couldn’t be happier, They fit great. The sound is clear. And, the seal around my ears is perfect. I should’ve realized with all of my past Bose purchases from sound docks to ear buds I’ve never been disappointed I trust in a company that takes the integrity of sound seriously. The Bose was helpful to me every step of the way.

I’ve owned the QC35II since 2018. This is the 3rd time I’ve replaced the ear cushions. Challenge at first, but once you get the first couple clicked in it’s a breeze. I constantly check the newer models and can’t notice much of a difference, so I just keep refurbishing these. The 3rd time I got the cushions from JB Hi Fi. Previous via Bose website. JB at least has an option to save on postage by collecting, where as Bose sell the same as JB ($39.95), but add a decent postage on top. Overall if your head phones are showing the sponge bit in an ear cup because the black leather like material has worn, you will notice a sound quality drop. 5-10 minutes and $39.95 later and you have a complete seal again and sound like brand new headphones. My QC35 are about 8 years old and the ear cushions were disintegrating and leave black specks all over my face. Was contemplating a new pair of the QC Ultra but found these replacement ear cushions. Since my QC35 work perfectly fine, this was an ideal replacement. Shipping was quick and these were fairly easy to install. These do what they're supposed to do and I'm happy with the end result.
Once I obtained the specific model number of my headphones (purchased about 8 years ago) it was a bit difficult to find where on the site to actually order the pads. Once there, the process was easy. They came in the appropriate time. Installation could have been easier, as the flange of the ear pads had to be forced into the appropriate slot on the headphones themselves. I ended up using a small screw driver to pop the last part of the flange into the slot. It was like "burping Tupperware". Pads have functioned well and my headphones look almost new. Too bad they don't have replacements for the part that goes over the head.

My original ear cups lasted many years but finally needed to be replaced. These were a perfect color match and easy to install. It’s like having a new set of headphones again. I’m glad I decided to go with the original set from Bose. While the generic option is cheaper, it isn’t a major price difference. The one tip I’d pass along is to work carefully when connecting the ear cups to the clips to secure everything in place.
My husband asked for Bose headphones several years ago. Over time, the ear covers wear out. I thought I would have to replace the headphones, but on a whim, I searched for the possibility of replacing the ear covers. To my delight, i found it was simple, and inexpensive, to do just that! This is the second time — over many years — I’m replacing the earphone covers again, and the earphones will be good as new … again! I couldn’t be more pleased.
