I have very narrow ear canals, so even the smallest in-ear headphones make my ears hurt after about 45 minutes. I travel a lot, so I need more than 45 minutes of comfort. So far, the longest I've worn these is just shy of 8 hours, and my ears felt fine once I took them off. I have fairly large ears, and the pads don't sit on my ears at all, and even the spots that make contact during wear don't get irritated. The band does leave an impression on the top of my head (I keep my head shaved/close to shaved), but that must be inevitable because I don't notice the weight of these on my head. All-in-all, these are SUPER comfortable, and I'd be surprised if you weren't pleased with how they feel after extended listening. Battery life is great , not cheap but best headphones ever made .

First off I must say the Bose Quality for headphones is absolutely top Tier, And now that they have released their newest Line of headphones I thought it might be a great time to tryout the previous models now that they are discounted on most retailers websites. I must say I am VERY impressed with these! Not only are they lightweight, they are foldable and very easy to collapse and store inside my travel bag. These are so finely balanced and I like that they also come with a carrying case to protect them from damage. The highs and mids are the highlights here with crystal clear audio over Bluetooth and wired connection. I started using these for my portable gaming laptop setup and I think I will sit to these over any of the recommended gaming mic combos. No brand comparison, only compared against $350. I read a lot of these reviews, and also own and like other Bose gear. Sound. A recurring theme in these reviews is that the sound isn't bassy enough or rich enough or something. Actually this was an encouragement to me, because I was just hoping for minimal color, and certainly no enhancement of bass (more on this below), just to hear what's there - in a wide range of styles of music. I love the sound of these headphones, or lack of personality; the music sounds amazing, and as others have pointed out, you really do hear new detail in old music. For example, the old hit Sultans of Swing sounded extraordinary; you know Mark Knopfler's lead would be gorgeous, but also a perfectly rendered P-bass and kick. Similarly dipping back into early Police and enjoy amazing detail in the bass tone and bass/drums balance. Too bassy in the EQ and you lose the insight into normal bass. This also improves listening to classical and work music e.g. Tycho, Mercury Project, etc. Comfort. Very good. I fatigued after a couple of hours of wearing. My not-small ear fits in the cup but seems to be very slightly touching some of the hard irregularly shaped structures inside. I extended wear-time by making occasional headband adjustments. The cushions and construction and button layout all seem fine.

I have 3 x 12 inch subs for my home stereo and easily can rattle things off the walls and piss off my neighbor's if need be. I found these headphones capabable of mimicking most of these frequencies. Its not gonna rattle your bones and provide your muscles with that delighful bass massage like a woofer can, but they will provide an exceptionally good experience. I used these headphones to help tune my system and found that i can hear more of my music with these than I can my home system mainly in the high to mid range sections. (Can hear down to 20hz on a bass test!!! - boom!) The cupped over-ear pads make sure you hear more of your music and ... MoreSound is spectacular. Excellent headset, one small issue but overall I still love them.

These headphones work great with my iphone/ipad and produce not only amazing sound but excellent noise cancelling. I downloaded the bose app and was connecting in minutes. Battery life is 20+ hours. Controls are simple and easy to use.So the one minor issue I run into is when I connect to my windows PCs I experience stuttering especially when watching youtube or playing games to the point they are unusable. I call this minor for me because 95% of the time, I use these headphones on the iphone anyway. I tried to fix the issue by only connecting 1 device on bluetooth at a time, and reconnecting but nothing fixed it.But based on just how fantastic these headphones perform on a plane, in a crowd, outside, and laying on the couch, I really cannot fault them much. Good, solid, comfortable, reliable.

The noise cancellation is pretty good and I think they rate highly in comparative tests. Comfort is excellent - I could happily wear them for extended periods of time without them becoming uncomfortable. The Bluetooth sync just simply works with my iPhone. No glitches, drop outs, even with taking, maligning a call and activating Siri. Battery life is not bad but I can only base that on the fact that these are a couple of years old from the time I purchased. Sound quality is tight, punchy, solid. Sound Does not compare with my 240 pair of Senheisser PXC 550 mk II , the sound of which is exquisite although the operation is sooo temperamental. Overall, these Bose are excellent. A great balance of NC, reliability, comfort and sound. A great everyday headphone.

Literally one of my best purchases

I got these because they supposedly had decent noise canceling, and they were light weight.The noise cancelling is pretty good, and you can't really hear much at all if you have music on, but you can still hear everything (just muffled) with no sound playing. Which is ideal for me, and something I really like about this product.They are also not that heavy, and don't give me awful headaches like a lot of headphones do.The sound quality is also GREAT.The only downsides are that the mic is a little quiet, and you won't be able to be heard over the phone on a windy day. Mechanics = Gas, but Earpads = A**

I bought this for myself a few months ago as a treat, and have used them almost everyday since! (sounds promising right?)I did find however that, when the headphones arrived, there were a few small imperfections such as scratches etc. around the body work of the headphones - which was to be expected. Moreover, I did have to buy new earpads to replace the ones it came with as the cushioning had gone almost completely flat and the textile had begun to peel (ew).Nonetheless, the mechanics of the headphones themselves are working perfectly and it did come with its case (which is great if you do not mind putting your silver headphones in a black case). Noise cancellation can't be beat!!!

Bose used to be the best in sound. Over the years others have caught up and they're not as superior as they once were. But then they figured out noise cancellation, and let me tell you nothing else comes close! In Quiet mode, I can't hear the tv that is 6 feet away from me, I can't hear the loud network cabinet behind me at work, and I didn't know there was a baby screaming on the airplane until I took them off! I was using Beats at work which are supposed to be "almost" as good but in reality the difference is night and day. If you want to shut out the world around you, these are what you need! Then there's Aware mode - now it sounds like you're not wearing headphones at all. I bought one set of these for the house on Prime day, and love them so much I bought a second set on Black Friday for work. I've had them for 5 months so far and they're holding up great, still in great shape. I can't recommend these enough!

Wrong product

I ordered these however when they arrived, the product had the incorrect charging cable included and so I had to go out and buy a separate appropriate charging cable.Then when connecting the product, it turns out I was sent the Bose QC 35’s rather than the QC 35 II’s. These are an earlier version, and cheaper. Either this was a mistake by CeX in that they can’t list products appropriately, or they intentionally sent an inferior and cheaper product.
