I love these headphones. They're super comfortable that mold around your ears while giving good breathability. I bought these since I work from home in a noisy apt complex and also wanted a good headset with ANC to use for single player games and these are PERFECT for both. I actually used the Razer Barracuda Pros for gaming prior to these based on Rtings review, which gives terrible advice that the Barracuda Pros are worth buying (they're not). The Barracuda Pros butchered sound quality while using the ANC and playing on Ps5, which made them totally unusable (this is a known issue that Rtings has ignored- yet ANOTHER issue they ignore which they do for many products). If you primarily play single player games and dont need a good microphone and dont mind a cable attached to the controller, these are PERFECT for that scenario. The headphones conveniently tell you the exact amount of battery life which is a huge plus. The sound is great though I imagine headsets at the same price without ANC will sound better as the ANC jacks up the price. These likely have a sound quality around a $150 set, which couple with the amazing ANC is good enough. My only concern is how long the battery will last as I hope I get many years out of these.

These headphones are absolutely amazing! This is the first headphones, on this price range, that I have ever bought. I am not an audiophile so I am not well-versed enough to talk about the sound frequencies ranges this headphone performs well at nor have I tested enough. From a layman, I like my sound balanced, and I was able to find a balanced sound that I liked using the Bose app, Googling what EQ setups people used, and experimenting a bit. I only used a noise-cancelling headphone once before purchasing this headphone, but it just felt really weird, and it made me feeling a bit nauseous/sick over time so I avoided purchasing noise-cancelling headphones. The noise-cancelling do not make me feel nauseous/sick and they block out so much ambient noise. I have a bunch of little nephews and nieces and when they come visit, it's really noisy. I was able to block most of their noise out when I needed to do homework. Also, if I'm not feeling like using the noise-cancelling, I'll turn on aware mode which is a awesome feature to have especially when I'm the only one home and doing work.I highly, HIGHLY recommend these headphones. Especially if they're on a sale.

I upgraded to these from a Sony WH1000 XM3. I don't regret it. The noise canceling is about the same, and the wind reduction mode is significantly better. The mids are just as clear as the sony, with more sub-bass. I have the bass at -3 in the Bose app, where I didn't need to in with the Sony. the sound is more spacious which is very appreciated, the Sony was very closed in. They are of course more comfortable around my ears, but about the same at the crown concerning the headband, wherein I had to adjust every once in a while. I honestly think this is the best bang for buck around-ear headphones for iPhone when this is on sale. One problem potentially is every time whatever I'm listening to stops, or I pause the audio, there are a few subtle pops or crackling. I think it might be with the Bluetooth or the headphones themselves, it doesn't happen when wired or on my old Sonys.

I'll start this by saying that I have a pair of Bose Quiet Comfort 35ii which I absolutely love. I bought a pair of these because I loved the 35s so much, I wanted a spare set around the house. Unfortunately, Bose has really dropped the ball on these.- You cannot turn noise cancelation off. I've reached out to Bose about this, and they confirmed that you can adjust it between Aware, and Quiet, but can't turn it off. I wear my headphones while running, and the noise cancelation system juat can't keep up with the noise of a treadmill. It winds up causing a thumping noise, which really makes them unusable. The QC35iis did the same thing, but atleast with those, you could disable the NC system and all was well. With these, the thumping noise is there regardless of whether you're in aware mode or quiet or anything in between. It makes them completely unusable. Which is unfortunate because 75% of the time I use headphones, is on a treadmill- They make a very weird popping noise when they try to cancel some sharp loud noises. So even if I wear them around the house while doing chores, if my daughter is playing with certain rattle toys, the headphones will start making popping static noise trying to compensate for the rattle noise.- Considering my QC35ii's are about 4 years old now, there really isn't any improvement in the noise cancelation function that I can notice between the pairs. I would think two generations worth of headphones, some headway would have been made. But in a quiet room listening to music. They sound about the same.So to summarize. They're worse than the product 2 generations back that Bose released in 2017. Why would you remove the ability to turn off noise cancelation? I just don't get why you would take that function away from the consumer.
I was pretty happy to see that the next generation of Bose's QuietComfort line seems to be just as good as ever. The fit is quite nice - loose enough to be comfortable, but tight enough to actually stay on my head when I'm looking about. I do like the way the speakers are tilted so that they don't squish your ears, and they're pretty comfortable to wear with glasses. The control scheme is familiar - the left side button that is remappable, the right volume buttons and play/pause button and power switch are all in the same places and do the same things as older models. The sound quality is nice as ever, allowing you to hear detail in the music without drowning in bass or having the "oops, all mids!" situation. The sound quality is nice as ever, allowing you to hear detail in the music without drowning in bass or having the "oops, all mids!" situation. The build quality is solid - I don't feel like these are going to crack apart when I take them off, and they're pretty inconspicuous and not flashy or garish (though, I'll admit I always notice it when I see someone else with a pair of the QC35s or the QC45s slung around their neck). And, as always, Bose stuck a really nice carrying case in the packaging, complete with a USB cable and an AUX cord. They're just very nice headphones all around, though maybe the top padding could be a bit softer. That being said, the Bose Music app is irritating me at the moment. These headphones feature multi-point connection - you can memorize six connections, and use the app to tell the headset what devices you want it connected to. This is a lifesaver for me, because it's really nice to just switch a connection in the app when I want to move from my school laptop to my gaming laptop, for instance. It will also do this automatically, but it just kind of latches on to whatever it sees first, which can be a problem if you have more than three things to connect them to. Anyway, the problem is, I randomly can't use this very useful feature because the app doesn't seem to be very good at remembering my devices. Nor can I sometimes adjust things like the self-voice during calls feature (which is very nice because it feels more natural, but depending on the environment I may need to turn it up or down). Since it's *all* of my headphones having this issue, very suddenly, across both iOS and Android, I'm pretty sure it's just some issue with the app and I do believe in Bose to fix it. However, you should keep in mind that you may have to put the headset into pairing mode with the app open to get the thing to recognize it.Other than the app being weird, there is one issue I did have - at one point, while paired to both an iPhone 11 and a Google Pixel 6a, I had to move my music over to the iPhone because the audio stream from the Pixel kept cutting out and becoming crackly, as though I were listening to music over a badly damaged AUX cable. This happened once and then never happened again, so I'm not really sure what went on there. It might have been a fluke, might have been some weird issue with my phones, or it could be the headset - I'm genuinely not sure.Overall, I think the Bose QuietComfort Wireless Noise Cancelling Over-the-Ear Headphones are a pretty worthy successor to the QuietComfort 45. They're definitely going to be my top recommendation next time someone asks me about what headphones they should buy. If the app didn't have the issues I mentioned, I'd honestly consider them to be flawless.

You can easily adjust the SoundTouch to your likings, I like to use the bass booster setting in the Bose app because I like more bass. The music is both crisp and clear. I think Bose has established themselves as the best in sound quality with these. The Bose headset picks up more music notes and sounds seem to be missed by the Bose competitors. The noise around you disappears but you can still hear some noise in your surroundings unless you blast the music in the headphones. You definitely will not be disappointed with the Bose Quiet Comfort headphones.Battery life is excellent; however, they do take a bit to fully charge if you let the battery drain all the way. I would recommend charging them when the battery life drops 50% or under if you plan on being away from a plug for a while. The right ear cup has volume controls, forward or backward mode for music selection and can answer phone calls, and the charging port. Also, on the right ear cup you can power off or on. The left ear cup has an AUX port and a button to toggle between "quiet and aware" modes. There are different modes to help with the wind cancellation and you can choose no more than 2 at one given time. The other two modes are a permanent fixture, so you can have up to four total modes.I could not use the Bose app on my, Ipod even though I could connect the music on my Ipod to the headphones., it can only be used on my IPHONE or IPADThe case is also nice and makes it easier to transport. They have become my dedicated headphones for listening to my music to walk, travel or just listen to music at home without disturbing others around me.One flaw: the headphones seem to slightly pause the music from time to time. But the Bose earbuds are better in noise cancellation.Would I recommend these headphones? Definitely!
I'm really pleased with the Quiet Comfort (QC) Headphones and quite partial to the green style.Earlier I had the Bose 700s which also had amazing sound and comfort, however I found the touch controls irritating as I would accidentally make changes, such as to volume or lose my audio when in a meeting. The QC's use buttons which suits me much better as any change I make is intentional. Many headphone reviews understandably and importantly speak of the sound quality and comfort. One criteria I found to difficult to assess in reviews before buying was the microphone quality. One criteria I found to difficult to assess in reviews before buying was the microphone quality. I have been using a quality and professional external boom mounted microphone for years and the pleasant surprise for me was that the microphones in these QCs are on a par or easily better quality. Also it is not a boom mic so how Bose achieve that is really clever. Apart from better audio from this mic, my voice quality is constant as you can move around or even away from the desk when using Bluetooth, although that would apply to any headset mounted mic.The sound quality and noise suppression is really impressive for me. For long Zoom sessions I have found the cushioning and comfort for the ears and top of head is much better than other headphones I have used. I can survive an eight plus hour day wearing them not feel fatigued or with a headache. As long as you treat them carefully and follow instructions, Myer and Bose are generous with their return policy, so if they are not quite right, which I found very reassuring.
It's been a while since I've bought a set of headphones, my last set lasted me about 5 years before they started crapping out on me. I have an old Bose headphones from the early 2000s that sound good still, but they don't have things like ANC, Aware/Transparency, or any of the nifty features that the Bose app offers like adjusting the strength of the noise cancelling, setting functions, ect. The sound quality is what you would expect from Bose, it's great! Pairs well with Spotify, the action button is programmable to a minor degree, it's nice to have. Only thing I will say is for $350 dollars, it would not have killed Bose to make the band a little stronger, plastics work nicely but for crying out loud this is a premium headphone set! The Ultras are a little better, for $80 dollars more and you get what feels like a metal headband. I would give these a 4 1/2 star rating cause everything else about them is worth the price point but the headband arms being plastic is a let down. Battery life is great! I can go a few days with them, another issue is sometimes videos on my laptop will pause between each other. Not sure why. Sometimes I get static, but I think it might be interference from other devices. TLDR : They are worth the money, but the materials of the headband could be better.
I rarely write product reviews for my purchases. However, on occasion, I will come across a product that warrants a review, whether it is positive or negative. With that being said, I am pleased to say this is one of my most positive reviews for a product, ever. I have struggled to find well-equipped, high-quality, ACTUAL noise-cancelling, over-the-ear headphones for so long due to my indecisive nature and lack of knowledge on what brand/type/cost is best for me. I usually struggle to the point of just giving up on choosing the best ones, I end up sticking with my ancient, slowly dying AirPods at the end of the day. That is not the case for this situation. I was so exhausted of using AirPods that don’t work half of the time and truthfully, the battery life was becoming non-existent without being on its charger. So, when I saw these Bose headphones went on sale at BestBuy, I sprung into action. I’ve used them consistently each day for about 2 months now. Switching over to these headphones has been an absolute game changer for me and my hectic daily schedule, as I am graduating veterinary school this May. The noise-cancelling power is wild! For example, a person could literally be screaming loudly behind me, and I would not hear even a peep, especially when I put them at the highest noise-cancelling setting. One of my favorite parts about these headphones is the ability to drown out any noise around me so I can focus on my paperwork, read, and study study study. I have always had an inability to stay on task since I was a child, and this annoying quirk resonates as trouble focusing and quieting my thoughts on to one solitary task/project at a time. These headphones have kicked my lack of attentiveness to the curb, and I now feel like I could get anything done with these magic little guys on my ears. The cool feature of these is the various noise modes that you can set them at depending on your needs or preferences in different settings. The modes include quiet (best noise-cancelling effect mode), aware (less noise-cancelling for better awareness of surroundings), music, home, relax, focus, commute (e.g., bus, train, airplane), workout, running, walking, working, and lastly, outdoor mode. You can easily switch between four different modes consecutively just by pushing the button that is conveniently on the backside of the left cuff. The left-sided button can be pressed and held down to readily access your shortcuts, such as Spotify or current battery level. It can also be used to mute a phone call, if needed, by pressing the respective left cuff button twice. There are three identical buttons on the outer portion of the right cuff that are used for:—> increasing/decreasing the volume—> pausing/playing the media (tap once on middle button)—> skipping to the next songs/episodes/etc. (tap twice on the middle button)—> tracking backwards to the previous song/episode/etc. (tap three times on the middle button)—> answering/declining phone callsNot to mention, these headphones hold a battery life like no freaking other. I have had them for two months and I have charged them fully ONCE? Like how does it do that? Nonetheless, I am obsessed with everything about my Bose headphones, starting with the aesthetically-pleasing minimalistic color, shape, weight, and comfortability they carry. Putting them on is like putting soft little sand-colored clouds on your ears. Feels like God himself could have crafted these bad boys when I wear them! Additionally, the headphones connect to a Bose app on your phone so you can adjust your listening preferences, bluetooth device connect-ability, and a multitude of other little intricacies that are extremely simple to navigate and change at any time you like. I am no Bose expert or product review specialist by any means, but I feel as though these deserve five stars for the impact they have made on my daily life! Bose products have become my Roman Empire. Thank you for listening and taking the time to read this. I hope my review will not cause you to have tunnel vision in what products are great vs others. Everyone has their own opinions, needs, and preferences, and I would hate for you to not love them as much as I love them. Overall, I hope that this review helps you decide what YOU want out of your next high-quality headphones purchase! Take care, and happy headphone hunting :)
I bought these headphones to replace a 7 year old pair of Bose QC35 headphones when the power switch malfunctioned. I was willing to spend extra for the added features, premium comfort, and quality that these headphones claimed to provide. However, I was not impressed with the sound quality. The ear pads fit too tightly creating an uncomfortable amount of air pressure in my ears, which made them unwearable for extended periods. I assume the tighter sealing earpads were intended to improve noise cancelation, but the noise cancelation wasn't as good as my old QC35s. The controls were unintuitive, more difficult to operate, and I found no use for the abundance of customizable button configurations. The controls were unintuitive, more difficult to operate, and I found no use for the abundance of customizable button configurations. The least useful feature on these headphones was the spatial audio, which produce a useless gimmick in the form of simulating physical speakers in the room. Combined with the price, these headphones are a very poor choice. I returned mine the next day in favor of a pair of Bose QC45 headphones for $230. You're much better off with the QC45 model than the new Quiet Comfort model which according to other reviews produces the same tight ear pad seal making them unbearable to wear. I am very happy with the QC45 headphones that I bought instead though.Update: After using the QC45 headphones for a while I realized that the sound quality wasn't nearly as good as my old original QC35 headphones. In fact the sound quality was so terrible that I felt it was worth it to try a pair of the new QC headphones (the treble was hollow and would frequently exceed their capacity and the bass was virtually non-existent, even after adjusting the EQ in the Bose app on my iPhone). However, I'm happy to say that the new QC headphones are just as comfortable as the QC35 and QC45 headphones and the sound quality is just as good as my QC35s, if not maybe a little better. That combined with the added features included with the new QC headphones, they are very well worth the extra $20 dollars that I paid at the time of purchase and definitely the headphones to buy.
