Bose Sleepbuds II

Wow these things are incredible! I bought mine in February of 2022 and have been using them every night since. I’m really not one to write reviews, but I cannot sleep without them.So these were my second pair of sleep earbuds I tried, the first being QuietOn which only would muffle some sound, but I would still hear background noise. Theses sleebuds definitely does have an adjustment period, but once you pass over that, it’s nothing but smooth sailing from there on out.I have sensitive ears and when I would first sleep with them, I was over aware of how they felt in my ears. But I just had a feeling that I just needed to keep wearing them in order for them to feel comfortable and they feel great now! I even forget that I have them in when I’m asleep!They have so many sounds included on the app it’s really cool! One review I read said something that I definitely agree with and will reiterate: it takes some time to find the sound(s) that works for you. For me, my sound is Sand. It sounds like a much calmer, less stacticy version of white noise. Also the Island Hop is nice, but it needs to be a little louder in order to be effective. You just have to keep playing around with the sounds, removing and adding as needed before you find a sound for yourself.After I take a sleeping pill, and put the sleepbuds in, I’m out like a light. I haven’t had good sleep like this in years. The sleeping pill I only take when I have work the night before, but when I just use the sleep buds on my day off, I still have a great night sleep. Without them, I’m woken up by every little thing as I’m a very, very light sleeper. It knocks out the sound of my man’s snoring, outside traffic, and the dogs that sleep in my room. When I do wake up throughout the night, the bose lulls me back to sleep in no time at all.There are a couple cons to take into consideration.1- sometimes when the sleepbuds are put in the case, you will think they are charging but they are not. There have been a few instances where I put them in and heard them click, but they were not charging. They have to click and light up in order for them to charge. So maybe that’s a user error, but something to keep in mind.2- the adjustment period for me was about two-three weeks of trial and error between getting use to the pain of the buds being in my ears and finding the right sound.Pros:1- wide variety of sounds!! so many different sounds that act as sleep aides it’s really cool.2- long lasting battery life. when charged properly, they last all night and then some. I only charge the case twice a week3- right sound= true noise cancellation. a person literally robbed my apartment a few nights ago and because I had these in, I didn’t even hear my dog bark to warn me of the intruder. So noise canceling for sureAll in all, solid purchase and would definitely recommend. I have to buy a pair for my boyfriend as well so he can also experience this bliss.

I bought these to replace some wired noise-cancelling earbuds that I had been using to mask snoring sounds from my partner using a 'sleep sounds' app on my phone. This had been effective, but I wanted a wireless solution instead, as my wired earbuds were inconvenient and too large for side-sleeping.I had found that even with my previous noise-cancelling headphones, my partner's snoring wasn't totally silenced, and a 'sleep sounds' app on my phone was required to mask the remaining snoring sounds. They are very comfortable, and the small size means that side-sleeping isn't a problem - I just don't notice them physically when they're in my ears. I use the 'Rumble' sound, as it has a combination of higher and lower pitched sounds that I find especially effective at masking my partner's snoring - but there's a good range of sounds to pick from.I only use the Sleepbuds when my partner's snoring is disruptive, so when I go to bed I take them out of the charge case and put them on my bedside table, then start the 'Rumble' sound via the app - then they're ready for me to pop into my ears if my partner starts snoring. The only way they could be better would be if I could take them out of the charge case (in the middle of the night) and have them start up with the correct sound automatically, rather than having to manually start the sound on my phone. However, the workaround of setting them up on my bedside table when I go to bed is fine.Altogether I'm very pleased.

This product saved my sleeping for many nights in the not very loud house. I thank it.For ambient noise louder than 80db, with wearing this one (and playing noise masking sound set volume to that little bar of 80db sound protection level), I still found noises were noticeable, speech was identifiable.(Tested in ambient noise level about 70db, with wearing this, playing stream sound for 80db, with also wearing AirPod Max, I still heard people talking on phone 1 meter from me)This product may isolate noise for 20db from outside. The noise musk sound from it does not include lower frequency.For overnight wearing for more than 3 nights, I felt a bit warm and itch in my ears. That’s acceptable.It’s good quality.
