My JBL extreme finally died and decided to get this as a replacement. After a lot of research and videos I decided to go with this little guy. The sound is amazing, clear vocals and nice bass. Thes best part is pairing it with my TV! "Samsung" it's pretty much a sound bar. 10 times better than the tv speakers! Watched Avengers Endgame last night and after almost 3 hours it only lost 10% power. I work from home and it's always playing a podcast or music in the background. Maybe I'll get another to pair, it's Bose. there's a reason they have been around for so long.

My wife bought two of these about 10 years ago. My mother-in-law was so impressed by one that I decided to buy one for her recently. I was not sure it was going to be the same quality as my originals. But to my surprise is actually better. It looks better. It sounds just as good if not better. And I like the way it charges using the new USB ports. Highly recommend very durable. I use my old one for working on construction jobs outside, in the garage come in the basement. One of the easiest and most reliable speaker to set up on any music or YouTube platform. I love it!

I honestly expected a bit more from Bose with this. The build quality is great and the size is certainly compact. Everything else is just meh or annoying. I bought this to replace a JBL Charge that started malfunctioning. We use it in our bathroom for podcasts or music. The sound quality was disappointing right from the beginning. The jbl was definitely preferred immediately. The next thing we noticed was when we connect to it, it announces battery percentage and the name of the phone connected. It's a little thing but unnecessary and annoying. Also annoying is the constant beeping if you do anything else on the phone while using it. I use it while working in the forest clearing dead trees on my land. I’m amazed at how I could be so far way from the speaker and still hear it very well. They were packaged so perfectly that they arrived ready to pair up, charge and use! By ordering directly with the manufacturer, I got the real Bose speaker and not a copy and that was very reassuring! I gave my Bose wired home speakers to a friend of mine who still used them today… those Bose speakers are now 42 years old WOW! The Bose sound link mini is extremely solid and heavy for its size. This is my second purchase of a SoundLink Mini. As a senior, I purchased it to pass telephone calls for comfortable no-hands use and listening to music. I actually prefer the charging station of my first SounLink Mini rather than being tethered to a cord for charging as the Mini II requires. Without the charging tether, I can then easily pick up the speaker and place it conveniently so others can gather around to hear and respond during calls.Perhaps, more importantly, and strongly suggested to refine the sound spectrum or add a selection to lower bass and increase treble. The speaker is great but I was disappointed in Bose when you took away a key selling point for this speaker, its charging base.This is a great speaker. I own one already and it came with a with a charging base. I bought this one expecting a charging base but when I opened the box, I realized that Bose had taken the charging base away. I expect Bose products to exceed my expectations. All my speakers are Bose. But in this case, I am disappointed in Bose. I gladly pay extra for the sound quality and features. You should have not taken away the charging base for this speaker!
Unbelievable depth and breadth of sound, out of such a small device! The sound is so good, I don't at all mind that it is not stereophonic. The battery life is amazing. I can play all the music I want for a week, before it needs recharging. Best of all, it is so easily portable. I wanted to have music throughout my house, but I didn't want to spend thousands of dollars to get this. Now, I just take my Bose SoundLink Mini 2 with me into whatever room I am going to spend time in. And also to the beach, camping, fishing... wherever!

It's easy to pair up to a phone, and has pretty good battery life.Sound quality, though is annoying to say the least. Don't get me wrong here, it sounds good, but it isn't consistent. As in, there is some software trickery going on that limits power (probably for battery life or heat production) and it results in volume jumps. An easy example is scooter - the logical song. So it sounds fantastic all the way up through the build but then when the bass starts up the mids slowly lose volume and almost disappear into the background, then when the bass stops, the mids all of a sudden pop out again and get louder. This is my second Soundlink Mini II. I bought the first one about 7 years ago and love it. I still have it, but took it to in my art studio. I purchased this second one for my husband’s TV enjoyment (to replace the one I took to work). He just opened this on Christmas morning, and there is not a docking station included. How ridiculous. It looks like the exact same model I bought before, but without a docking station to charge it. So, it was like giving a kid a new battery-powered toy for Christmas but not including batteries. Do I have to buy this separately? Beyond annoyed!
This is even better than expected!!!I purchased this so I could listen to music and also take hands free phone calls while cooking. The speaker quality is great and I was thrilled to discover that the quality of microphone/speaker for phone conversations is much better than on my $700 cell phone. When a call comes through, the music will pause so you're alerted to the call and if you allow access to contacts, it will let you know who is calling. Great when you're busy doing other tasks while enjoying your music.It's just fantastic!! Can't believe I got it for such a good price during the New Year sale. This will get many many hours of use! Bonus is that it looks so sweet on my kitchen shelf when it's not out on the countertop taking center stage.
