I bought this for the portability. The sound is always rich- true to Bose quality. Bluetoothing to phones, plus, tablets is very simple and this device is able to connect with multiple devices at once. You can take your calls and voice assist with Siri makes finding your music a snap. Taking this to the pool, camping, fireside and grilling out is so simple due to it being water repellant. The handle is high quality and comfortable. The neatest addition to the functions is it does have the screw in the bottom to attack to a camera tripod!! The battery life is amazing. Bose Sounding also comes with the Bose app which makes setting it up on your smart home simple. This makes a great gift for yourself pr those you love!

I've literally been using this speaker for years (as you can probably tell from the photo). It's amazing! The sound is super full, can fill an entire room or more, has a beautiful docking station optional ($40). I take this speaker everywhere and water has never been an issue. From its release date until now, the sound is exactly the same and still beats out brand new 2022 speakers from competitors. This one costs a little more then some but it's Bose and you won't be disappointed. Also, one of my fav features is, it can play seamlessly with other bose speakers and you can just tap your phone on the top and you or anyone can connect to it easily. As an avid tech user, I'm confident you will not be disappointed.

The Bose Soundlink Revolve II Portable Bluetooth Speaker is not large or bulky shaped. It is small enough to fit on a shelf or in a cube cubby but not so small that it affects the sound quality. It was easy to set up and use. The set up process was fairly quick as well. The sound quality was really good and clear. We used it a few times outside and the sound was really good outside. When we use it inside I can play it in the living room and hear it good while in the kitchen - which is separated by a wall. My toddler and I have had quite a few dance parties using the Bose Soundlink Revolve II Portable Bluetooth Speaker. Overall, I would recommend this Bluetooth Speaker to anyone looking for one of good quality.

Big Sound in small package!

Wow! Bose Soundlink Revolve+ packs a punch. I've found the reviews I like the most are layed out in Pro/Con style.. So here goes.PROS- Ofcourse the sound but more so the Quality of sound. Yes its loud but doesnt jeopardize clean and clear sound to do so. The design is flawless and the Lux grey is a nice change of pace for the standard black and matches my decor perfectly. Love the design and look of the speaker and how the speaker doesnt have 1 seam in it as its one solid piece (how did they do that?) and the handle is thick and feels solid. It is solidly built and designed. Used it outside during a cookout and received many compliments of how good it sounded like I had an outdoor surround sound setup, its that good sounding. I've owned many off brand wireless bluetooth speakers and this is the gold standard, the Cadillac of speakers. Great job Bose. I have yet to download the App so I cant speak on that but obviously you don't need it to operate the speaker.CONS- Wish they could somehow design it to where I could answer an incoming phone call with the speaker. For example if I have the speaker near me as I'm cleaning and I get a phone call, I am unable to answer the call through the speaker or have a conversation through the speaker. Instead I have to go grab my phone to answer it. Minor inconvenience but something I have been able to do with other off brand speakers. Its nit picking I know but thats my only gripe. Perhaps you can and I am just not doing it right?

Excellent Sound for a Portable Speaker
20 July 2020

I tested out a number of different portable speakers prior to buying this one, including the JBL Flip, the UE Megaboom 3, and the Bose Soundlink Revolve (the smaller, more affordable version of this one). This was by far the best sounding of the bunch, though also significantly more expensive than the first two.For a compact, portable speaker, the Revolve Plus delivered good volume, satisfying bass, and impressive clarity. It was a substantial improvement from the standard Revolve, which sounded hollow when playing sonically dense material. (My impression is that the standard Revolve prioritizes powering the high and low ends in these circumstances, causing some of the midrange to fall out.) (My impression is that the standard Revolve prioritizes powering the high and low ends in these circumstances, causing some of the midrange to fall out.) I would actually recommend the cheaper Megaboom 3 over the standard Revolve, as it delivers the full spectrum of sound and has the advantages of longer battery life and improved durability. (However, the gap in clarity between the Megaboom 3 and the Revolve models is quite noticeable.)The important thing is to understand is what you want from a speaker and what you're getting here. If you want a wifi/bluetooth speaker that you intend to leave plugged in all the time, you can find ones with better sound quality. If you're willing to pay more and carry around a significantly larger device, there are other portable speakers you should consider. If you want a speaker that's ultra-durable, there are definitely better options out there (such as the Megaboom 3).If you want a speaker that you can easily carry around the house and listen to on your porch or back yard, this is a great option with impressive sound quality for its size. The only reason that I'd give it 4 stars out of 5 is that the weatherproofing could be better, the standard pricing is a bit high, and I tend to be stingy with my ratings.

Excellent...while it lasts.
26 July 2021

This speaker was great while it was working properly. It's got full, rich, well-balanced surround sound. It's a significant improvement over the next cheaper Bose option. However, after about a year and a half, I started having connectivity issues. Seemingly very randomly, it suddenly wouldn't connect to any of the two or three devices I use with it. I'd wipe the device list, shut it off, re-pair and it would usually work again. Now, it simply won't connect to certain devices no matter how many times I reset it to factory settings.I've had it for less than three years and it's just about unusable now. Not to sound TOO bitter, but I did expect more from the Bose name. Anyway, not a bad investment if you consider it more of a long-term rental.

Great Bluetooth Speaker
16 January 2023

I've had a smaller Bose bluetooth speaker for a while, and I just upgraded to two of these mid-size speakers to use in my apartment with the built-in two-speaker stereo feature. Although the Bose app has been a little glitchy for me, the manual operation of the dual speaker party mode and stereo work great. A good investment for those looking for very good sound in a relatively compact package. Would highly recommend, especially if your budget allows you to get two!

Having a pair of these in Stereo Mode is awesome
23 January 2020

Received these about Christmas time and have listened to a bunch of music with them in the month or so since. I can link several Bluetooth devices to them at once and I primarily use them in Stereo Mode (a sub-set of Party Mode). I also like to use them in semi-permanent positions with extra long micro-B charging cables and I disable Power Save mode, so they just start working when I decide to play some music. They have excellent bass reproduction - better than any small or portable speakers I have tested. I would guestimate that they get down to between 35 or 40 Hz, not quite as low as my 10" sub goes, but them, it's hard to carry a sub woofer around. I like an older person's variety; classical, blues, 70s-80s rock, country and bluegrass - these do well on all of ... MoreReceived these about Christmas time and have listened to a bunch of music with them in the month or so since. I wish they came with wide black rubber bands to stretch around the widest point and provide a bumper. I'm using a tan rubber band for now. They have an easy phone app, but really, it's just as easy and alot faster to learn to use the top buttons. Here's a tip that helps with speaker placement. If you have a clean rectangular wastebasket made of heavy plastic, try laying it on its side with opening facing you and place the speaker inside 3-4 inches from the back. This directs and improves the bass even more and will help you visualize where you can place the speaker to get the best sound. A book shelf or on the floor does well too.

Stereo even better!
6 July 2020

I loved my single Bose SoundLink Revolve speaker. It's easy to use, produces a great sound and has a small footprint to fit wherever I want (desk, worktop, etc.). But what about stereo? In the Bose small print, a second speaker is promised to add stereo, but this is not much publicised and there were some user-reviews on the Internet that suggested there may be issues.I am delighted that I was not put off and bought a second Bose speaker. I bought this speaker about 6 months ago for my kitchen and back patio area, with plans to get another/compatible one for use in my living room and side patio area (after having JBL/Harman Kardon portable/bluetooth speakers for use at work, in my room, and in my bathroom). I waited awhile to make a review so that I could have a tried and true opinion of its features and function. In the end, I have to take 2 stars away for the two main features that it was advertised as having and that I wanted-bass and long battery life.Don't get me wrong, the sound quality and clarity are okay for a little speaker; but, everyone has different defining characteristics for their music, and this speaker disappointed my expectations for the Bose brand. My other speakers, from the small JBL clip that I use at work to the larger Harman Kardon studio 5 that I have in my room, are beasts when it comes to sound, clarity, treble, and most especially bass. However, the Bose muffles the treble and bass when playing the same song/music-which is extremely disappointing since I expect those areas of deep bass to play and they aren't there....As far as it playing up to 12 hours?!...Lies! This has never played for 12 hours-even if it has 100% power when I start. I am doing good if I get up to 6 or 7 hours of playback-and I use my phone's app, so that shouldn't be a factor in its power consumption since it's merely functioning as a speaker.I really wanted to love this speaker... It is sleek, takes up minimal space, is simple to use, and has speakerphone functions-but that sort of sucks, too, because individuals have a hard time hearing me. I don't know...Maybe I got a dud. Unfortunately, it wasn't worth the price or the hype Bose used for its advertising, so I won't be purchasing a compatible speaker to link with it because I'd hate to waste money and be disappointed again.
