Thanks to updates in Tube Logic technology, all seven models in the lineup offer authentic tube-like response and feel, with the new Pushed amp character designed for players who love edge-of-breakup saturation. The BOSS Tone Studio app has been revamped for smoother editing of amps and effects, with an improved workflow for macOS and Windows. With the optional Bluetooth MIDI adapter, players can wirelessly customize sounds and stream music from iOS or Android devices. Since its debut in 2016, the Katana series has become a go-to choice for guitarists worldwide, combining professional-grade tone, built-in effects, and wide versatility. Katana Gen 3 refines the five original amp characters—including the high-gain “Brown” tone—and now offers a total of 12 distinct voices to suit any musical style. Select models also feature the new Bloom circuit, which enhances touch sensitivity and dynamic response. With five independent effect sections—Booster, Mod, FX, Delay, and Reverb—and up to 60 customizable effect types, players can shape their tone in fine detail. Extensive connectivity options support remote control via expression pedals and footswitches, while higher-end models are fully compatible with GA-FC and GA-FC EX foot controllers for seamless stage operation.
