This amp sounds really good with my electric cello! I like the ability to change the frequency of high and low mids. Really helps dial in the sound. It has a good ability to produce highs as well as lows. For cello I always need delay or reverb to ass natural tone to the electric. I like that this bass amp has effects added and can fully control them and modify from tone studio. Very loud and powerful and a lot of options for shaping and changing up your tone.

I was blown away but the power of this two 10" combo amp. The class A/B power is deceiving. 160 watts shake my whole house. This amp has a huge range of tone and works well with any bass guitar. The included FX are great. If you buy the optional Bluetooth adapter you can change settings on a tablet or phone. You can setup set list FX with your needed effects in the computer software. It's also great for practicing with it's 1 watt mode so you don't upset the neighbors. I'm loving this amp. But one, you won't regret it.
I bought it because it has an input to the power amp which lets me to bypass the preamp & use my ART tube preamp, but this amp already gives me that warmer sound & sustain which I was looking for, through it's settings. However, the settings are very confusing to navigate & set up.
This thing is great it has every function you could need. It has plenty of power don't let the 160 watts for you it bumps just as hard as most 500s. Has more features that you can use.
Don't let the 160W stop you from purchasing this amp as it's very deceptive with this amp being class AB vs Class D. This amp has plenty of power and so many great features. AND it sounds great!
As complicated as you want it to be. The 1w mode gives a good deep sound at home practice levels while full power is enough for all but the largest of venues.
