My search for plant protein powder is FINALLY over.I had thought plant protein would mean giving up in that creamy texture & having to consume grainy like textured plant protein.BUT you have no idea how happy I am because this protein is ACTUALLY creamy, I even had it with just almond milk in a shaker & it was still delicious(generally I NEED to blend other brands into a smoothie because the grainy texture & weird flavours ain’t nice by itself)So yes - thanks Botanika blends 🙏 I am finally not missing out just for being lactose intolerant 😂You have made a loyal customer out of me 💕

OMG! This is by far the best protein powder ever!!!Don’t get me wrong, all Botanika Blends are awesome, non gritty and delicious 🤤 but this is my absolute favourite! It tastes like liquid chocolate. So good! Do yourself a favour and try it, you will never want any other vegan chocolate protein powder. You will love it.

My most favourite of protein powders I’ve tried - a few in this companies and a few other brands. I have not found one to top this one. I initially regularly bought 500g sizes in a local SA supermarket - though not sold there anymore. So bought 1kg online but this time 3 x 1kg packs as more economical and my all time favourite. Can not find a fault in this flavour. Have tried the Hazelnut one (ok), raspberry and coconut ( even though no artificial sweeteners added still had a taste - though a couple of my friends love it. So comes down to personal preference) and lemon cheesecake sachet (which I found a slight aftertaste). But I’ve tried the cookies birthday (100s and 1000s baked in side), Choc chip, double choc (yum satisfied my chocolate craving) and the lemon ... So even though I found lemon cheesecake protein powder giving me an aftertaste the lemon poppyseed cookies did not. And liked the individually wrapping of these making them portable and 10gms protein. So I am so glad my lemon cheesecake protein powder experience did not stop me trying the lemon poppy seed cookie.

I found lemon cheesecake protein powder giving me an aftertaste even though not artificial sweetened. My favourite is the coffee protein powder.Though I am so glad my lemon cheesecake protein powder experience did not stop me trying the lemon poppy seed cookie as the lemon poppyseed cookies did not give me an aftertaste. I like raspberries but I only enjoyed this when I added cocoa powder to my smoothie. There was a strong taste for me otherwise that I couldn’t place. It says on the ingredients Raspberry Ketone, and wondering maybe that was the taste coming through? I’d recommend the Blueberry pancake if you want a subtle berry vibe, that’s one of my favourites!
I’m hesitant to write this because I don’t want it to sell out before I can get MIIIIIIINE, but yolo. This is my favourite flavour ever. A really subtle, yummy flavour. It’s not overly sweet or fake peanut buttery - it tastes like real peanut butter in a milkshake with a slightly berry aftertaste. SO GOOD. I blend it with ice, water and spinach and despite it sounding super gross, this mix is so flipping good. It’s like drinking a peanut butter milkshake BUT HEALTHY!!! I bought heaps of different flavours to try, but I honestly just wish I had a billion bags of this.
I actually did not expect to enjoy this one, I always go for caramel/vanilla kind of flavours and I’m hard to please with protein powders - I got this in the test pack. It was super sweet and desserty and I didn’t get that ick artifical sweetener taste. Not chalky or bland. Blueberry flavour came through great. Definitely recommend if you want something different!!
I was really hopeful based on the previous positive reviews , but upon tasting it ( even when smelling it) my heart was crushed. It does not taste like ‘ Cacao hazelnut’ it just taste …. really bad - I don’t even know how to describe it , it’s kind of ‘earthy’ tasting ?😂. I’m not sure why, like I said , it has a 5 star review. I think maybe it’s the pea protein ? Or maybe even the coconut milk powder ? Because I’m really confused as to why I find it so disgusting 🤢🤔. I REALLY want to like it, but my taste- buds prevent me from doing so. If anyone has any inclination as to why , that would be greatly appreciated.
This flavour isn’t my all time favourite - I don’t find it quite strong enough to cover up the taste of blended spinach (I’m trying to ingest more greens and I have baby tastebuds) but as a protein powder it’s fantastic. I don’t know how they manage to make these not taste like protein powder?! It’s so good/weird. I just blend up ice, water, buttload of spinach and the powder and then I’m left with a yummy chai flavoured milkshake (with only a slight spinach flavour). It’s not overly sweet, it doesn’t taste fake or anything and there is a nice balance of spices - it’s not overwhelming.
I ordered five varieties to try and Blueberry Pancake is THE one I definitely don't buy a big pack of. I think it's mainly because I'm not a big blueberry fan. In my opinion, it tastes neither like blueberries nor pancakes. I also used the protein powder in pancakes, but it wasn't my cup of tea. If you're going for breakfast flavors, I would recommend the Fruity Cereal Mix instead. And if you're looking for something fruity, I recommend PB&J (I am a sucker for salty sweet mixes).
