I appreciate that Boulder offers chips that aren’t fried in safflower oil, canola oil or sunflower oil, as those oils are high in omega 6’s and more inflammatory. I prefer to eat chips cooked with coconut oil, avocado oil, or olive oil. These are higher in omega 3’s which are anti-inflammatory. — Boulder has chips cooked in olive oil, coconut oil and avocado oil. Of the 3, I prefer the avocado oil and the olive oil. I typically buy the chips cooked in avocado oil as you get significantly more for you money than you do for the price of a bag of those cooked in olive oil. I appreciate that they are non GMO, but wish that they were also organic. Not enough to doc stars though… they’re made in Boulder, CO, which, in and of itself, speaks to the quality of the product.

Amazing chips!

Trying to not consume seed oils. Love these avocado oil chips! They taste fantastic! A little “healthier” version of chips. At first I didn’t think they were salty enough but now I really like them. Great price too.

Delicious, umami, crisp.

I first tasted and fell in love with Boulder Canyon Makt Vingar and Avocado Kettle chips while in Ohio. Almost impossible to find in Canada but Natura Market to the rescue. The malt vinegar is less acidic than white vinegar and it is complemented by the avacado oil. Only umami chip in the world as far as I can tell. Delicious and delivered quickly by Naturamarket.

Disappointed
6 March 2023

As a person looking for clean options, I thought these chips would be good. Unfortunately, they’re not just salt and pepper seasoned, there’s sugar and yeast extract (a.k.a. MSG). I’m disappointed and after trying 1 chip, threw out the bag. For the price I expected a lot more!

Great Snack
19 September 2022

Loved these. I found that they had just the right amount of salt without it being too salty and the ingredients are very clean. I did not feel guilty at all eating them. My family also enjoyed them as well. Great snack to have on hand. Definitely ordering again.

Great replacement potato chip
4 January 2023

Given the crazy price increases on snacks lately, I decided to give these a shot as they're a bit cheaper per oz. than other popular kettle brands. There's also the added benefit of eating a healthier oil vs. the corn/canola/sunflower oil blend most use.I really like the taste on these chips. I'd say they're similar in taste to a normal kettle fried chip, but with a touch more flavor from the oil. It's rich without tasting like avocado. The salt felt like the right amount. I personally prefer a chip that is not oversalted, and these were great.I'm also a sucker for the crinkle cut, and this is the only brand I've seen that does it with kettle chips.100% recommend these, even if you just want to try them out once. Just wish they had some more flavors to pick from!

Pricey but very good!
12 February 2023

I'm only taking off one star for the price. I k ow avocado oil is pricey so I'm not sure a solution however I will say these were delicious. I love that I can feel better giving my children these, I love that they are the perfect serving and they are perfectly salted. I wish they had a non ruffled version and used organic potatoes but these are very close to perfect. If you can get past the price I recommend you buy!

So good!
24 October 2022

So crunchy and a great treat! Love that I know I’m eating a healthy chip! Such a senseless shame that we can’t get anything as good as this made in Australia. Interestingly I find a handful of these is enough to fill me up! Quite different to when I would have eaten other brands with not so good oils! Best price ever seen at p&p too!

Yuck 🤮 bring back coconut oil chips
1 October 2021

All the way from AustraliaI was told at the store that Boulder were no longer doing coconut oil chip. I fail to understand why when in Australia you were lucky to find a packet. Constantly sold out. I did a quick google on the smoke point of avocado oil. Because if the smoke point of an oil isn’t high enough deep frying with it damages the oil structure. Then eating stuff fried in vegetable oil can actually cause damage to your body. Coconut oil having the highest smoke point of all pant derived oils is the safest vegetable oil to consume. Any way I assessed the situation and though to myself they could probably get the potato chips crispy without damaging the oil structure of the avocado oil. My kids were the most disappointed as they now no longer have any chips to eat at all.
