I grabbed the Shagtastic Wash Pad following a chat with Dan Bowden hismself about the best tool for washing my Falcon and it this was the best all rounder. Fantastic to hold, doesn't leave any fluff on the paint and is easy to get dirt out of. No regrets!

This wash pad is fantastic but really only should be used when you dont have a car thats too dirty. It lifts the dirt right off and leaves no scratches. Bowdens Own range is always top quality and functional.

Best car washing sponge I have ever used. The wet weight is all you need - no pressing hard to remove dust when washing. Loads of sides to use as you wash so not rubbing in dirt on one side continually being used.

This is a great looking pad with some good ideas behind it, but as mentions in some reviews below the joinery at the corners it really stiff and hard and can scratch. Rare you will hit a painted edge but moving the sponge around you need to be careful. I think there's enough pile that you shouldn't get to the base of the sponge to scratch anything. Cleans very well, holds suds and cleans up well in the washing machine.
This thing is wonderful to use, I have an SUV and this makes short work of a maintenance wash for it. Being large enough yet not too large for single hand use. With the combination of having the foam centre to adsorb your car washing suds this is a winner for a great safe washing experience.
The wash pad that Austin Powers would use on his Shaguar!Very easy to handle. Hold a good amount of soapy goodness inside it. Rinses out really well. Goes through the washing machine well and comes out good as new and ready to go. Worth every cent. Great Aussie Company to boot!
Best washing product i have used. Very gentle on the car and i use it with Nanolicious after a prewash with Snowjob.Always use the 2 bucket method like whats on the instructions. Leave the wheels last.
At first it seems really good but once you look at it fom wash safety side you can find a 2 major flaws with it. One being the backing plate ie where the fibers are glued/melted onto is a bit tough so you need to ensure that this does not touch the paint as its a sure micro scratch. Ie applay only light pressure to the pad.The second one is the way its made, one of the short sides has tough corners stiching under the fibers. Again you must ensure that this does not touch the paint with any pressure. On the possitive side the pad rinses cleanly and holds ok amount of suds and water.
I regularly use this to wash my Shagwar!Holds the car-wash well, cuts through the mud and gunk, can't possible ware it out. Iv had one for 2 years now and its going strong. Like most things made in the 70's it could last a lifetime.
These are a great long lasting pad to wash your car. Gentle on the paintwork but the fibres really penetrate and remove the dirt. Best I have ever used.
