Great product, works really well especially on dried on tar. We have some council workers who's job is to shovel sticky stones into potholes. They do the bare minimum and let the vehicles compact them, as a consequence the stones stick to tyres which get flicked onto the bodywork.

Honest review here.... I had no luck at all, drowned the car in the stuff and nothing budged so I was confused about the good reviews. I was trying it in direct hot sun with a cotton rag. Tried a few days later in early evening with microfiber cloth and couldn't believe how good it works. So basically if you think it doesn't work you are probably doing it wrong.

I bought this after looking at other reviews but I didn't find this product very effective in removing tar off my car. Had to spray few times to dissolve small tar patches that are less than 5mm. It's not simply spray and wipe. Had to spray and buff few time before you can get it off.
Had tar spots on my white car that just wouldn't come off with other "tar removers". Repco recommended Bowden Ta Ta Tar and it worked with no damage to paint work. Still required elbow grease but now looks good.
I used this today on tiny spots of HONEY that had been on my bonnet for a few months. We had a bee hive move in to a very inconvenient spot. I didn't spray it straight on in fear that it might leave a dull patch. So I sprayed it onto a microfiber cloth & gave a gentle wipe over each spot. I then washed the bonnet with Bowden's wash. They all came off & it didn't mark at all. I had washed the car about 5 or 6 times with bowdens wash prior which hasn't budged these stubborn marks.
Recommended this by staff and as it was Aussie made i though i would hive it a go.First time using i sprayed the area i was cleaning I let it soak in and cleaned, seemed to work ok, when i started the next area the pump didnt work so i couldnt spray from the original container. I had to transfer the contents to another empty one. So not impressed with the quality of the bottle but the spray liquid worked well on most marks.
My car had been lightly sprayed with airborn bitumen droplets the size of a pin head upto 1mm ALL OVER my car when a contractor had recently spray sealed a driveway approximately 3m from my car in heavy wind.I sprayed this product over one panel at a time including glass, waited 1 minute for it to penetrate and wiped it off with a Bowen's bug off micro fibre cloth. It was so simple and required only one wipe of the cloth to remove all tar. NO SCRUBBING OR POLISHING, just spray, wait, wipe. Best product I've ever used in my life.Thanks Bowen's wish I had of taken photos or video to back up claim.
Worked fast. I used it on an unknown blotch on the bonnet. I tried soapy water etc and couldn't remove the stain for want of a better word. I applied this product and bam, it was gone.
I bought this to try and remove the old wheel balance weight glue on my Rays wheels. This stuff does the trick, you just need to be patient and get some elbow grease and a microfibre cloth to go with it. Was able to remove all of the insidious glue eventually (I guess it's a good thing it doesn't come off easily given what it's for!). Also good for removing stickers from new toilet cisterns I found out.
