I had the Sony WH-1000XM5 headphones which I was very pleased with, but my daughter loved them and wanted to borrow them. Being a softie, I obliged but after seeing her so happy with them, I told her to keep them, and I’d buy a new pair. Unfortunately, Richer Sounds was out of stock of these, so I checked out what else was available. The Bowers & Wilkins Px8 was given some amazing reviews both by the experts and by customers. They were nearly double the price, but I really enjoy great sounding music, so I took the plunge and ordered a pair. The first thing that impressed me was the design & build quality. These were the Ferrari of headphones. The sound quality was not just a bit better than the Sony’s, but it was noticeably better within 2 seconds of listening. From the reviews I knew that they would be better, but the Sony’s were so good that there wasn’t room for them to be much better. I was delighted to be proved wrong as they sound amazing. The noise cancelling is not quite as good as Sony’s but that didn’t bother me.If you love great music and you can stretch your budget, definitely buy a pair. If you’re not too bothered or your budget won’t stretch to these then Sony XM5s are a great choice. Whichever you choose, make sure you get them from Richer Sounds as the service is always excellent.

These headphones are on a whole different level of quality. I'm very happy. One suggestion... there should be a loop on the case so that the case can hang on the little hook on airplane tray table keeps.

These are the best sounding headphones I have even owned. I have always been a fan of B&W products and these are no exception. The sound reproduction is very true to the source delivering impactful bass when it's there and extremely detailed highs. Crutchfield was also great with order promptness and delivery.
Bought these to replace my ageing beats pro. While these dont get quite the same punch from the base, the overall quality is much better with the definition between base and top notes being incredibly defined. Superb kit and very happy with them.
Excellent sound ( for wireless headphones ), goes loud and even louder when on cable. Battery life is solid ( 30h ), build quality and the case it comes in are high quality. They also connect to two devices simultaneously. You can configure treble, bass and the quick action button ( switch modes or open assistant) in the app. The noise cancellation is decent, Sony has better noise cancellation if that is what you are after. The only funky thing is the wear sensor ( pauses when you take them off ) but it can be configured. All in all solid but quite expensive. If good sound in wireless headphones is what you are after these are for you, otherwise go for Sony or Apple Max.
I initially looked at the PX7-2, which are gorgeous and punchy. The details on the PX8 might be overlooked, but are worth noting. A metal arm, leather details on the zip case etc. remind you that this is a premium product. But is it worth the upgrade? My advice is to listen to both sets one after the other to the musical style(s) you mainly listen to. The PX8 is less fatiguing that the PX7s, with a more subtle and nuanced performance. The staff were wonderful. Helpful but gave us time to properly demo both headphone sets.
These headphones are built really well. They sound great for what they are (bt headphones) but the sound stage is beaten by something like the Sennheiser Momentum 4.
Took the plunge having watched/read every review around. Fantastic build quality, impressive audio on every level, better than any other headphone I’ve listened to. Decent app, but not works bearing in terms of functionality. Really effective noise cancelling and comfortable to wear for prolonged periods. A seriously big price tag though, it would have been nice to have a demonstration, but my local store didn’t have stock. Richer Sounds service ihas always been great in my experience. The product was delivered quickly and safely. So are they value for money, that’s such a subjective question. I think they are better than the PX7 S2, they are built to last and sound amazing. Do they pass the test, “would I make the same decision again” Yes I would. Would I like them ... MoreTook the plunge having watched/read every review around. I was so excited to try these out after ordering them for 700 dollars the sound profile is unexceptable. There is little to no bass even when turned up I dont know if I will keep them. the sound is clear but only sounds good at almost 3/4 volume to full volume.
