Brabantia HangOn Drying Rack with Rod 25m Fresh White

I had high expectations about this drying rack. I have owned a Brabantia Outdoor Rotary clothes dryer for a couple of years. I really like the design and using it for my clothes. Based on the quality of that product, I purchased a HangOn drying rack. Unfortunately, it collapsed upon first use. This is because rivets are missing from both plastic parts at the top of the rack. I would have expected better quality control from Brabantia.

My basement laundry can get crowded and this drying rack really helps. Different configurations and easy setup are a huge plus in that limited space. Fully opened and extended provides a ton of drying square footage. And then I fold it up for another day. I previously used several smaller and less sturdy racks. They all went bye bye when I got this rack. Kind of expensive but totally worth it in my opinion. Definitely recommend.

Better than expected

It's a great product. You really feel the coating is going to last, and not flake off after a few years as with less superior products.It's easy to use, both in unfolding and folding back up. I can basically do it with one hand (if I had to).The sturdy construction gives peace of mind.While it's a bit of an investment, I feel it'll last longer (which helps us contribute less against waste of poorer products), and we love that.

Big airer

We wanted to save on drying costs over winter and reduce use of our tumble dryer. We have another concertina airer but can end up with another wet load and no space to hang it.Our plan was to get this bigger airer and look at incorporating using a dehumidifier with it ( we got a 20l meaco and its v good).This one has a useful rail at the tops for hanging tshirts etcDrying bedding can be more difficult in winter but I also can put a king size flat sheet over the top to dry all spread out 😊One can put up either wing and at different angles.The top rail can be up or downPlus there is a little hanging bit under the central 'wigwam' of the stand so loads of flexibilityIt is big and you would need to consider where it would go and think about hanging lights ... MoreWe wanted to save on drying costs over winter and reduce use of our tumble dryer. Brabantia Clothes Horse

Yes, it was pricey, but we got a discount as first time buyers. I believe when buying anything, buy the best you can afford. I bought it using Afterpay to make it less painful, lol, , but I seriously am glad I went for the better quality option, because I know it's going to last a LONG LONG time!!..... If you don't want to be replacing you're next clothes horse for MANY YEARS, just bite the bullet and go with this one. You won't regret it. Plenty of room and it wil pay for it's self over Winter for sure. And YES, it's really stable, I loaded one side first and husband was saying, better put some on the other side or it will tip up...NO, it is super steady. loaded one side, then the other. Two loads done and plenty of room for the third!

Brabantia hang on drying rack with central rod

When you want to buy a product, there are plenty of on-line reviews to take in, so as to make an informed decision. Having spent a while looking at these for various brands and designs, we chose this Brabantia hang on drying rack with central rod. It is every bit as good as expected and more. The design and dimensions are perfect for taking at least two full loads of washing and the design ensures that the clothes are not too close to each other so as to impede drying. Robert Dyas was the keenest price we could find and the delivery time was perfect. Thank you.

Excellent drying rack

Probably the best drying rack I've used. Relatively strong and stable even when hanging clothes on one side (but don't push it). The extra bar on top is very useful to hang shirts so they can dry straight. Bottom rack in the middle is great for smaller items. Side racks flex slightly (understandable) when loaded but they look sturdy enough. Folds up to a decent size similar to most racks.

Excellent robust clothes airer

Unfortunately my last clothes airer only lasted a year. So I carried out a lot of research before purchasing a replacement. This Brabantia is strong and I can fit a huge amount on it. Even my cotton sheets that are super king size; and It still feels extremely stable. I like that it folds up neatly for storage and has adjustable side 'wings' depending on the length of item being dried. I hope it lasts as long as the penultimate airer which gave me over 30 years of wonderful service.

Fantastic and highly recommend

This is a great clothes drying rack. It is very adaptable being able to have one side up, both sides up where they can be at different angles and the additional hangon rack which has a tightening mechanism meaning it can be at any angle - great for long dresses. I normally need to use a tumble dryer for some of a wash but this fits everything on and there is no need for me to use the tumble dryer. It isn't the cheapest drying rack but worth every penny, solidly built and will pay for itself by not needing to use the tumble dryer as much

Great to be excited about such a functional item

I love everything about this clothes dryer. The colour (mine is black) and the style of it means I don't feel the need to hide it away. It's very stylish - almost like a work of art. It's so easy to put up and down - 25 metres of drying space collapses easily into a very manageable item. As there's so much drying space my clothes are drying much more quickly -air is circulating around more freely. I love the hanging rod for shirts as well - they dry neatly and so less need for ironing.
