Very happy with this fridge, it works just as expected at a very attractive price. The key feature I wanted was the ability to be both a fridge and a freezer at the same time. I’ve only done a test run with water but it worked brilliantly. The wheels are handy though they add width which makes it more difficult to fit to a sliding drawer system. My only suggestions for improvements would be, a more positive and lighter to operate latch on the lid rather than the simple friction device, and baskets for the compartments. Otherwise I would have given 5 stars.

Overall this fridge does work well. It is at a great price especially for the features that it has and how well it works. I was able to have cold bottles of water in one compartment and freeze bottles of water in the freezer compartment. The middle divider can be removed if you want to run the whole fridge as a fridge or freezer. It has a clear easy to read display that shows you temperatures and battery voltage. There is a battery protect function so that it doesn’t over discharge your battery however there was no information about the cut off voltages. There is also a USB port up front to charge devices. Absolutely a great unit with easy to use features

Very pleased with my purchase of genuine Fridge/Freezer, freezes well. Versatility can use as full freezer, full fridge or separate into 2 compartments for both, light to view inside at night. Easy to use and move around at virtually half the cost of well known brands. Buy the size to fit your vehicle and I don't believe you'll look back.

Best Buy for a beginner

Wasnt sure what type of fridge freezer I wanted to buy but so far so good with my Brass Monkey 50L. Will say purchased in January 2021 used it out camping with battery pack & solar panel and worked well. Currently have it in garage keeping my beers cold Cant wait to get out of lockdown and use it again in the great outdoors

Cool Fridge or Freezer

Very happy with our Brass Monkey 50L fridge or freezer. Being able to move it around with the extendable handle and built in wheels is a fantastic feature. The controls to operate it are easy to use and easy to read.. It is light weight, looks to be sturdily constructed, very quiet in operation, cools down to freezer operating temperature quite quickly. Our initial test we ran it for a week on 12v via a solar panel and battery, charge held fine. Quite impressed initially will know better in a year or two down the track.

Cool and roomy

The unit is very heavy. Loaded with goodies, it is difficult to lift out of a vehicle for one older lady(me) but otherwise it works very well. We took it on a road trip and the drinks were beautifully cool, the cheese firm and the salads crisp. I ran it without the divider as tall bottles dont stand in it. Yes it is better than an esky, less expensive than a multi powered fridge, but very good value for popping into the back of the car on hot days. Im glad I found this fridge on EBay.

Great 12v fridge /fleezet

I borrowed a similar product and I was so impressed that I ordered one for myself. I have not used mine as yet but from experience it works well even when the outside temperature is in the high 30c.

Great value for money

This fridge has worked perfectly so far. Value for money is excellent compared to more known brands. It's also a lot lighter than other brands. It also seems quite light on battery use. Time will tell if it has longevity.

Outstanding value.

This is a genuine two zone, ie you can set each zone at whatever temperature suits your needs. I've tested it with a thermometer and it's pretty accurate. $450 for a 50L dual zone with a three year warranty, unbeatable. And Jaycar are always great with any warranty issues.
