i really like that Braun made these universal with both clean%26charge and smartcare stations. you'll see they look smaller but it's just the removal of the outside ridge from the old version. The actual center cartridge and opening locations are identical

Convenient and quick replacement!

I love the simplicity and convenience that comes with these cartridges and the cleaning base. Simply pop the top off and easily replace into the cleaning base. These last about a month for me. They work great and flawlessly with the base, and I love that my shaver is clean and fresh every time I use it. A word of caution, taking the top off of the cartridge can be a little difficult so you want to make sure you have a good grip on it. I got a little splash of the fluid on me the first time I tried to remove the top, but now I know! This review was collected as part of a promotion, but the thoughts and the opinions are my own.

Expensive investment

I bought the matching trimmer to use these refills today and see how it turned out. I came from a Philips norelco pro trimmer that I’ve used for a couple years now. Comparatively, the Norelco razor felt like it did better and was more compact to take with me if I’ve needed to. On top of this, the Braun was twice as much and it’s refills costs don’t last as long as the Norelco refill heads. I should say I don’t shave too often either, and when I do I use a trimmer first or all the way down so I prefer simplicity. Works as described.

I am happy with the cleaning cartridges. Theyperform as described.My only advice shave away from your nose, and mouth area, first use after cleaning. The cleaner has a lubricant that has a bitter taste if you shave around your mouth, and accidentally touch your tongue to this area prior to rinsing that areas.I clean after second shave in order to have the cartridge last longer.Best price at Walmart online.

[Rewarded Review] Cleans and renews every shave

Ive been using a self cleaning system since the 3 series of shavers came out. Using this system has eliminated the constant acne issues I had in my younger days. Last week i upgraded to a 7 series razor and guess what? They still use these same cartridges! Thus I'll continue to use these to keep my face smooth and severe acne free!

This product cleans my electric razor in the Braun recharging cleaning unit. My wife thought I should buy the Braun electric razor with the cleaning unit. It has turned out to be wonderful. The liquid smell good and cleans and lubes the razor. Glad I have the cleaning unit and this cleaner works great and is easy to change. Wouldn't want to be without it.

Simple/easy to use and cleans much better than plain water: cleans, sanitizes, lubricates (all-in-one) with a noticeable difference in razor function vs cleaning with water alone. Also, eliminates hard water mineral build-up on razor. Each cartridge can last few weeks, reasonably priced, and maintains optimal razor function. Based on my long-term experience, Braun makes high quality products that you will be most satisfied with.

[Rewarded Review] Necessary Accessory for Braun Razor

These are cleansing reservoirs for Braun Series-7 elec razors. Razor cleans itself while on its base. The solution in these spare reservoirs cleans the razor head. This works well, and I the replaceable cleaning reservoirs are lasting longer than I expected. With regard to razor, it can be used “wet” but doing so makes cleaning more complicated. So far, following shaver advice of dry skin and no shave cream works fine. Less mess this way anyway. The shaver base takes up room on sink countertop. Don’t tip base, the reservoir may spill cleaning solution.

I've been using Braun Clean & Renew for quite a few years now, and apart from one of the earliest cleaning stations (which leaked fluid onto my counter regularly) it's worked quite well--get a sparkly clean shaver every time. If you've got the time, you can probably manual clean well enough and skip the self-clean station altogether.I've never liked the added cost, but it is a bit of a time saver. I still brush and tap out the bigger debris particles before running the self-clean routine. I shave every day, and run the self-clean routine every other day. A cartridge typically lasts me a little over two months with this routine (using ~5 year old Series 7 cleaning station). He recently mentioned a cartridge lasts him about three months.I received different-looking Clean & Renew cartridges in my latest Best Buy order (August 6, 2024). So different I thought they were fraudulent and considered returning them. Reading other reviews online I found quite a few other people with the same dilemma. Instead of returning, I decided to call Braun and ask them. The customer service representative I spoke with said the Clean & Renew system underwent a "sustainability" redesign early this year (i.e., how can we reduce the amount of material used, increase profits, and save the world at the same time?). So the cartridges lost their "wings", but the newer design still plugs into my self-clean station just fine and has been working just as well. I posted some pictures of the newer cartridges.

This is a great product. There are really no other choices for it but buying it through BestBuy you can get great value. I use it every time after a shave. It cleans the electric razor very very well and it feels like using a new and fresh electric razor even after years of usage.
