Braun MQS 200 Chopper Accessory (350 ml) Black

Only this piece of hand blender is keep breaking. First time I thought I overused it or I put the blade in dishwasher so I bought new 1.5L cup which individually prices as 35$ Broke again. Not spending another 35bucks only on a cup.

I have the MQ9 and I love it; it's the most used kitchen appliance I have.Unfortunately, the lid for the 350ml bowl is saddled with a manufacturing defect.Like the other reviewer, the first time it broke I assumed it was me.Once the replacement part broke in the exact same way I suspected there was a defect. After the 3rd one broke and I'm waiting for the 4th one to arrive, it's clear there's is a defect.Specifically, the white spinning piece in the lid is what ultimatly breaks and it shreds the inside of the lid while doing so. Oh, and as a bonus all the shredded plastic ends up in whatever food you're preparing, some of it so small you can't remove it.This does not happen with any of the other lids, just this one.Beyond the frustration of even needing ... MoreI have the MQ9 and I love it; it's the most used kitchen appliance I have.Unfortunately, the lid for the 350ml bowl is saddled with a manufacturing defect.Like the other reviewer, the first time it broke I assumed it was me.Once the replacement part broke in the exact same way I suspected there was a defect. After the 3rd one broke and I'm waiting for the 4th one to arrive, it's clear there's is a defect.Specifically, the white spinning piece in the lid is what ultimatly breaks and it shreds the inside of the lid while doing so. A replacement for one that broke after 10 years of service. Used to chop coarse peanuts finer for my pet lorikeet "Munchkins". The unit that came with my older set is still OK after 15 years. Good reliable Braun product! Customer service & delivery was equally impressive.
