I always used manual razors because I didn't really trust electric razors. I always heard that they weren't good for close shaves, always left a little stubble, etc. Boy was I wrong. This is my first time using an electric razor, and it was the closest shave I've ever done. When I touched my skin after shaving, I felt no stubble at all. My skin felt so smooth. When I first used this razor, I was a bit worried about cutting myself in certain areas around my neck, but it was a perfect shave. The razor was gentle on my skin and felt even more gentle than some manual razors. If you're someone who's always used manual razors and want to see what electric razors are about, then this razor is perfect.

The packaging it came in kinda was cheap so I automatically had low standards for this shaver. When I first tried powering it on it was dead but from the manual that's how it comes so you have to charge it. Once you plug it in it charges so fast and once I tried it, it blew me away lol I see why the packaging so cheap because they put all the money into the actual machine. Definitely throwing away my other trimmers, This Braun shaver is so quiet and way more powerful and gets closer to the skin without irritation, I have very kinky hair so I get razor bumps and ingrowns easy but with this shaver my skin wasn't irritated at all. I generally use a 5 blade disposable razor but more on my advanced years I sorted to bleed a lot when shaving, some of y'all know this feeling, so I bought a well reviewed three circle blade competition electric and don't get me wrong it's great but I'm really O.C.D. about severe tire damage stubble where there isn't supposed to be any. I use it twice a day and only have to charge maybe twice a week, I do clean it once a day and oil it with clipper oil. Which is mineral oil at least twice a week and I love this thing. I have even used it to shave my wife's legs. Works great with very little to no skin irritation depending on how hard you push Ok now down side all the instructions are just pictures with no recommendations on cleaning, oil, replacement parts (it does show you how to change the battery..bonus) but most you have to research for yourself I personally pop the head off rinse it out re assemble then dunk the head in water and run to dislodge any extra debris pull it out let it dry then oil run again to work the oil around wipe off excess then store so far no problems. Definitely recommend this product it's a great shave and if Braun makes all their products this well they now have a loyal customer

The small size made it easy to pack for a vacation and the charge lasted the entire week I was gone. Overall this is a great sleek looking product that really does the job when it comes to grooming your face or even other areas of your body. I plan to use it as my regular shaver going forward.

I have always used a Braun razor, so I was expecting something great, and this really met my expectations. The razor itself is extremely light and easy to hold. It charges up fast, within 30 minutes. You get a really smooth shave with this razor. The noise level on this razor is very low, which I like. I got no skin irritation from this razor, it was so smooth! I really like the color of the razor and how it is designed. I am very pleased with this razor, and having will be something I look forward to. I highly recommend this razor by Braun!

This is my first electric razor, and my experience with the Series 6 has been terrific! It has 2x speed modes, gentle and turbo. I find gentle speed works best for me. I get a decently close shave as well, not 100% but close! My only complaint is that it misses small sections on my face. There are a couple hairs in spots in corners and awkward angles, like in between the neck and right side chin that are difficult to shave. I have to go over those sections aggressively in order to shave them. It does come with a precision trimmer but it doesn’t work well under the nose, on the neck, or in sensitive areas. I received this product for free from Influenster in exchange for my honest review. In the past I have stayed away from electric razors because I have sensitive skin so I was excited to try this product. The razor works very well. It takes longer to shave my face than it would with a normal razor, but it still produces a decent result. The only downside was I found it difficult to get a good shave on my neck. I had to go back over this area to touch up places that didn't get a close enough shave. Also, it takes longer than my normal shaving cream and razor to shave my face. If you're on the go, traveling, then this could be a great alternative to a razor.

Decent electric razor, kind of overpriced

After 20 years of spending way too much on expensive cartridge razors, I decided to go back to an electric. I had used a cheap Remington as a teenager, but decided to splurge a little on this Braun series 6 this time around. I’ve had it for about 3 months now, and I can say that it’s been…ok. I don’t hate it, but the end result is less than spectacular.Pros:- Mild shave - no razor burn, easy adjustment.- Good battery life. Series 6 Charging and Clean Station - Design Flaw

I have purchased three different generations of the Braun Series razors over the last several years. A complete design failure of the Series 6 (and other series below it) is the inability to simply charge the razor in the station without initiating a clean cycle. If there is a way, it is not adequately documented. Most online forums indicate that the means does not exist. In what world is that a good design? Why do I need to swap the power cord between the station (to clean) then only the razor just to charge the shaver? I'm not sure that I'll buy another Braun until this is resolved. If the the latest series Braun can simply charge in the station without initiating a cleaning session, I'll be back.
