It actually smells better, I use BC all the time so I did a little experiment I filled one tray with BCPP and the other with BC and you can definitely tell the difference

I was very happy to find the 30ls is divided into 3 10l bags for easy management so you're not lugging a big bag around. It's not the easiest to clean but for the price I don't mind wasting some.

Jessie had litter tray issues Now using correctly with this litter
My cat has become quite fussy with his litter and it was being cleaned promptly after use. He would look for other places (such as sinks) to do his business if he could smell even a hint of his previous work. We've been using this litter for 4 full days and he has a pep in his step. He will use the litter even if it still has whiz in it. He absolutely loves it. For a small extra price, it's definitely worth it. I highly recommend it and I will not be going back. Don't hesitate on the extra spend as it will make kitty and human very happy.
