Bref Brilliant Gel Alpine Lake Toilet Cleaner Block 42g

[This review was collected as part of a promotion. ] Packaging was easy to open and didn’t cause any mess while setting up. The scent is nice but it was very subtle when I first opened it and while I wouldn’t want something overpowering, it is barely recognisable now it’s in the toilet. Would be better if it were a little stronger. It leaves a light bubble across the surface of the water after flushing. So far it is doing a decent job of keeping the toilet refreshed between cleans but next time I’d pick a different scent so the toilet had a stronger nice smell between cleans as well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion. ] Easy to open and get out of the packaging this one also has a foil film over the gel that you need to remove before placing on your toilet. The scent is subtle even when water has washed though it, you can barely notice the smell of it, besides a slight freshness. It’s better than smelling straight toilet water. It doesn’t change the colour of the water like some others which I would honestly prefer, but I do think it keeps my toilet cleaner for longer compared to if I didn’t have this product in my toilet. I do like this one but it probably isn’t one I’d buy again as I like the ones that change the colour of the water.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion. ] A convenient product, neatly fits over the rim as shown on the packaging which is often an issue when not every design fits every toilet. First flush was a bright, uplifting fresh scent, the. design means that the peel-off seal where gel is touches the bowl as tge bubble type packaging is so fantastic showing how much is left whislt keeping the rimblock. so much cleaner & hygenic than a standard cage or running out like a cistern block.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion. ] Once I found out how to install the toilet cleaner as I always thought it went over the rim but now it goes under, after 2 flushes I was able to get the brush out and this bref made my cleaning g super easier which surprised me. It didn’t foam up but you could see there was a small coating that once the brush cleaned the toilet the flushing daily over and over kept the toilet cleaner and the smell was like a sweet light perfume that filled the air in the toilet room. I didn’t feel I needed to spray a can I. There after using this. Bref you have me hook line and sinker, I’m a repeat customer now. Thanks influencer

Personally I love a strong smell but if you prefer a subtle smell. This is definitely for you. But overall it does the job.

We have an old house that has an old toilet, so not only is it hard to keep sparkling clean, but the water can sometimes smell no matter how much bleach etc I put in it. I love attaching these to the sides of the toilet and forgetting about them! They help the toilet smell fresh and look so much cleaner. Absolutely love using these and have already repurchased.

This product has a strong but pleasant smell, it’s like a perfume that I can smell as I walk past the bathroom which is much more present than bathroom smells so that’s a win. The gel seems to release much less than the traditional style of this product which is surprising as I thought it would dissolve quicker. I still am not a fan of the plastic hook that is used to attach to the pan they are flimsy and never sit right so I took of a few stars for this but as a whole this is a great idea to use in the toilet especially before guests are over. .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion. ] This whole range of scented BREF products are wonderful. The design of the product means it sits snugly up against the toilet rim. The ARTIC OCEAN scent is fresh but not overpowering. The only downside is that they are one off use. This does need to be considered for future longevity.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion. ] Bref Brilliant Gel Toilet Cleaner Artic Ocean smells amazing. The scent doesn't only make the toilet smell good. The whole bathroom smells clean. Lasts very long and withstands a lot of flushes. Finding a spot for installation is tricky. The hook doesn't let the gel sit snug on the toilet bowl - it's too short. The only place I can find with good water flow is at the front which is not ideal

The product does not change the colour of toilet water like other products but it does create a thin layer of foam that lasts a short while after you flush. I didn’t notice my toilet turn any brighter or remain cleaner for an extended time however the ocean scent left from the flush is long lasting and pleasant without being too overpowering.
