They are commonly used outside so most of them will have a coating that protects them from the elements and stops rusting. This variant is coated with B8 which is a hard, highly abrasion and extremely scratch resistant alloy, which is eight times more durable than conventional, soft and friable, zinc and galvanised coatings ensuring that these screws will last a long time securing your projects. Its countersunk head allows for a perfectly tapered fastening job so you wouldn't have to worry about getting scraped by protruding screw heads, and the ribs allow for easy countersinking and self-tapping.
