This is the most perfect microwave for the small space I have. It has bigger space on the inside and without the turntable, cleaning is so much more easier. Most of my cooking is nowadays done on this microwave and it is super easy to cook curries, lentils, potatoes, rice, pasta and it can even cook things I previously needed a slow/pressure cooker for. When warming up food, the food on the bottom gets heated first so it helps to stir in-between but eventually it does a good job heating through the entire food plate. Just because I have a smaller space does not mean I have to settle for less quality microwave, thanks to Breville :-)

Great microwave except the measurements- it was a bit wider due to the ventilation on the side. Only just fit the cabinet. That said - absolutely love the microwave. Flat base is great!!! Only draw back is you can’t see inside very well while cooking. 10/10 would buy again.

This is the most perfect microwave for the small space I have. It has bigger space on the inside and without the turntable, cleaning is so much more easier. I bought this microwave 1 year ago, we have loved it. Until last night, when after 7 minutes of heating my dinner it was still stone cold. We have tried to heat things but it just makes noise and the light turns on but doesn’t heat anything anymore! Very disappointed. Not great when its 8pm and you have to think of a new dinner last minute :(
So far so good. I am disappointed in how easy moisture builds up in-between the 2 glass panels on front door. It looks awful and took forever to go. It has never happened with any of my other microwaves. If it keeps happening too much I may have to take it back incase it's faulty
I bought this when a 1100 watt Microwave broke down, this was on special and the tag for the sale was misleading it said upto 1200watt, when this is only 800watt It looks nice and is very lightweight but that's where the good ends The only thing that really gets hot is the hotplate itself and subsequently the bottom of any plates placed in the microwave To steam veg the water has to be pre-boiled or it wont steam anything within a decent timeframe which defeats the purpose of having a microwave Re-heating plates of food requires several minutes to get tepid food. There is an autocook function but you have to determine the weight of the food beforehand. In summary this is severely underpowered. Ordered online.We unpacked and set up this microwave, only to realise that it had been used! A small crack in the face, fingerprints all over and.... a cookie left inside!!! What's going on Target?!?!? Now this unit is no longer available online or in store and we have already disposed of our old microwave. We needed a compact unit to fit a small space, this design seemed perfect but poor quality control on return and no stock to exchange... It is very disappointing Target!
The Silhouette Flatbed™ Compact Microwave I waited to be available again at Target was my Mother's Day gift. I like it since it's easy to clean. It has wider space & I told my friend that if they eventually need microwave, buy the Silhouette Flatbed™ Compact Microwave they will not regret. I chose Breville brand since I already tried & tested for I have a Breville Nespresso. I wish I can afford to buy the heater & cooler for I needed too.
This microwave was working great for approx 9 months, except it was a little loud. Then it just stopped heating. Worst part was, I couldn't find my receipt and when I found it, it was 2 months over the 1 year warranty and couldn't exchange :( :(
Purchased in April, was initially very happy with it although it did take a bit longer than my previous cheapy microwave to heat things. 6 months on, I'm currently hangry and the piece of (chopped up) frozen lasagna I've had in the microwave for SIX MINUTES is still frozen in places! I've just had to put it back on AGAIN! We find the microwave consistently heats up the plates/bowls but leaves the food cold. Dinner last night I couldn't touch my bowl because it was that hot, went to take a bite and my food was as cold as if it had just come out of the fridge. Absolute waste of money and terrible product.
