Bought this after missing out on Aldi's 23L Air Fryer Oven, which was $150. Was happy to spend the additional $100 for the Breville brand and an additional 5L. It's excellent! Use it nearly everyday, even if it's for reheating / toasting. Very very hand, easy to use, and $ efficient VS a conventional sized oven to do the same work. Still working out how long to airfry things, as times with conventional airfyers aren't the same. The unit looks very neat sitting on our benchtop. All in all, we don't regret missing out on Aldi's special buy.

I purchased this air fryer 6 months ago and it gets used daily. The air fryer itself works fine, is easy to use, and the different setting are handy. However, it is atrocious to clean! crumbs do not stay on the crumb tray and are difficult to get out of the bottom of the air fryer and also get trapped in the window part of the door. My crumb tray has buckled, is difficult to get in place, and sometimes falls onto the element part way through cooking. Love the functionality & size but the unit itself is let down badly by 3 things.1. the door does not open to a flat position making it difficult to get the crumb tray out or trying to use the bottom tray section.2. The utilities are of poor quality, especially the baking tray. I only used several times and cannot get it clean plus i use baking paper as filter between food & tray but still looks likeit dirty even after washing. very flimsy and i dont see it lasting long.3. Cleaning is a nightmare particularly trying to avoid touching the heating elements, half suspect that they will eventually get damaged in the cleaning process.

Does a pretty decent job for the price.. Done a bit of dehydrating, baking and airfrying... having using the Pro version as well, it is comparable considering it doesn't have the pro features or the price that goes with that. Love the design of it, although the quality of certain elements could be better. It's pretty easy to use and love that you can dehydrate in it, although the time limit is a bit limiting. Also the accessibility to spare parts seems to be a bit complicated too. Looking forward to using the rotisserie function too...
A deeply flawed design that is on the cusp of being unfit for purpose. Almost impossible to clean, leaks fat from meat cooked in the air fryer on to the benchtop. A total waste of money for a misconceived product from a company that should know better. The last Breville product I will ever buy.
Love this air fryer!!!! This is the first one I've owned and used but read many reviews before purchase so feel like I've bought very well. Its super quiet, quick , large capacity is great for a family of growing boys.Its versatility has saved my life and pretty much replaced my oven. It air fries, bakes , slow cooks, dehydrates and has a rotisserie.I was initially worried about the oven door as it appears like it doesn't seal well but no heat escapes and I haven't had any issues.Easy to clean the interior. The mesh tray cleans very well and is strong, the baking although sturdy was easily scuffed and scratched after only one wash, still functional.Still think its a great product and highly recommend it.
Have oven for a week now. Fantastic! Chips, roast chicken, biscuits,muffins, slow cooking, and rotisserie turkey roll 1kg. Zucchini Chips in bread crumbs and cheese. Same size as microwave. Easy to clean. Just need to be careful to place tray over elements if cooking gooy cheese filled chickens Kiev in airfryer basket as it drips on to cooking elements. Or just place on tray instead of the airfryer basket. Still leaning. Having fun. Good strong oven, high temperatures and lower temperatures . Happy I brought it! Thanks
If you purely are looking for air frying function then look for the drawer type which is more effective, however, this is great for larger size multi function cooking including air fryer function as well. I bought it after reading up the more expensive Breville Smart Oven but since this is half the price of the Smart Oven so decided to give it a go, and after using it for 3 weeks, my comments are:Pros:1) good cooking capacity - 28 Litre2) 8 cooking function including air frying.3) affordable price.Cons:1) needs preheaing (5 mins) and food doesn't cook as quick and as golden as a drawer type air fryer.2) Needs higher heat and longer to cook, my belly pork did not come out as good as using the drawer type.3) only 4 elements ( 2 at top and 2 at bottom) ... MoreIf you purely are looking for air frying function then look for the drawer type which is more effective, however, this is great for larger size multi function cooking including air fryer function as well. It can in fact replace your wall oven if you don't need to cook for a big family. I actually bought 2 and recommended it to other friends but unfortunately it seems like out of stock now. If anyone is interested in this oven, do go into their stores as you probably can find stock despite their website shows otherwise, that's my own experience anyway.
I bought this two months ago and cooking time is more than halved. My roasts turn out moist and caramelized to perfection. While my meat tests in a low oven a quickly roast the veg.Air fry function is brilliant got my son cooking! Baked muffins pies scones great wee oven
Originally we bought this to use as a small item over to save firing up the 90cm one in the oven... turns out this little one exceeded our expectations and is now our daily oven. Heats up quickly and cooks well. I love the toast feature too which makes my raisin toast perfectly. My partner also has used the dehydrate feature for cake decorations effectively. It's a great little oven. My only regret is not taking better care of my trays. I don't think they are easy to replace, so I wish I had taken better care of them from the start with lining paper. All in all though, for the price I'm not losing any sleep over it. 5 stars.
