I have had the Bijou for a week now and I absolutely LOVE it! This machine delivers barista standard coffee but is so easy to use (and clean!). The machine can do one or two espressos at once so it’s perfect for my double shot flat white. I would usually call to Starbucks for this but now I buy the ground coffee and can do it myself saving myself time and money.The milk steamer is fab and easy to clean - I purchased myself a stainless steel jug to steam the milk in so I can do enough for 2 cups and avoid any mess. I bought this expecting it to be a decent but cheap espresso machine, I was sadly mistaken. Though the coffee it can produce is of a decent standard as soon as you use the steamer you can’t make another coffee as it clearly only uses one tank for heating the 2 sections that rely of very different temperatures. As a result if you make one coffee with steamed milk you can’t make another without having to wait for it to cool down. I was quite disappointed so I have returned the product

I love everything about this espresso coffee machine. It's not too big, it has a very elegant design and chrome colour that will be suitable for any kitchen. IT doesn't look bulky or huge, it looks fantastic and compact in our kitchen. And the best part is that it makes delicious coffee! Very easy to use after reading instructions. Yes, you need a little bit of time to make a coffee but it is worth it, as the coffee tastes amazing! It's like you have a small cafe in your own kitchen. You can make 1 cup or 2 cups at the same time, so great for couples. I also adore how to make velvety milk with a steam wand. It's a bit noisy but you get used to it and the taste of it is just brilliant. Highly recommend this coffee machine, you will love it!

Since the machine is a bit lightweight, the force applied for the portafilter makes the machine slide to the right so I must ensure that I hold the machine with my other hand in order for it not to move around. All in all, I am having a great time using it and puts a smile on my face when I use it in the morning. If you are a newbie to coffee machines, I think you will enjoy using it.

I got this as a birthday present after the pump on my old breville died, sadly it is a discontinued model so was unable to replace it.This is a ok starter machine for someone who wants home espresso and is not too bothered espresso quality.The group head is so badly designed you will never get a good even espresso shot due to poor water distribution and uneven flow rate, the pictures show that you will get forced channeling because the water hits the shower screen off centre and this causes uneven flow. Even using specialist accessories to improve the flow rate and reduce the channeling it still struggles.The steam wand and water dispenser works great, once you purge excess water before you steam you can get great results steaming and frothing your milk, it is perfect for making barista grade hot chocolate.Yes it looks great, not too big and it is easy to clean, but be warned not even the company that makes it offers any support or advice if it’s not working properly. you get nothing, the description for this model described it as having a 52mm group head but be advised it is actually 51mm if you are looking for accessories or replacement parts.My advice when making espresso, I would advise turning on steam function afterwards if not just to steam milk but to also force the extra water that gets stuck in with the coffee to force it out of the filter and coffee puck, once you stop pouring your shot the pressure goes but there will be a sludgy mess inside the filter unless you set to steam and force the excess out by switching to pour instead of steam until the water stops.Overall as I said this machine does look good and does an adequate job but for its price there are better machines out there at a lower or similar price point, just bear in mind it does have flaws.
I am a big coffee lover, I always start my day with a cup of coffee. I like natural and strong coffee so this machine is just great for that.It's very easy to use, pretty straight forward, easy to clean as well.The milk frother works great, I use plant based milk and turns out nice.The only thing you need to remember is to let the machine cool down once you use the steam before you start brewing. You can do this by waiting a few minutes or you can run a steam cooling down cycle by turning the button to steam position and let cold water come out for like 40 seconds.I like it overall, is exactly what I needed, it's quick and is better than buying coffee outside.
