There is no timer but is not really necessary as it is very quick so I just make a cuppa while I am waiting. The sandwich toasties come out perfect, no mess and so easy to clean the product (I just give it a light wipe with my dishcloth after each use but to be honest there is really nothing to clean-up). When it cools down I just use the side clip to lock it and pack it away upright under the sink. I love making cheese & asparagus toasties (using grated cheese & tinned asparagus) but my granddaughter just loves cheese on her one. I live in an apartment where space is minimal so the compact size of this product is perfect. There are no negatives that I have come across.

I recommend that you don't leave it toasting for as long as the manufacture recommends because it only takes half the time to make a perfect toastie (about 4 minutes). I always butter the outside of the bread (but not the inside with the filling). After use, let it cool down then simply adjust the side sliding clip to lock and pack it away flat or upright. I purchased mine at Myers Pacific Fair at their end of financial year sale about 5 weeks ago.

This sandwich toaster is great quality, heats quick and toasts sandwiches thoroughly and fast. I'm a new mum and wanted quick, easy food options so I grabbed this toaster to make my life a bit easier. I'm very happy that it takes little time to toast my sandwiches and wraps and my cheese is melted through. Highly recommended!

I purchased this sometime after the time Target Campbelltown closed, as I went to Macarthur Square. I can't find the receipt and now it is in the bin. It has had very little use as it is only for me. The top plate after a couple of uses would no longer clip on, and there is no clip so you can stand it up for storing in the cupboard. I have only a small amount of bench space. When the plate stopped clipping on, I just put it in the cupboard to deal with later, and forgot about it, till today.
Easy to use. Quick to heat. Easy to clean no crevices for food pieces to get stuck in.
Great product to make a quick easy lunch! Really like the level adjustment for making thick and thin sandwiches. Really good with Gluten Free bread as it doesn’t stick at all. I often make cheese, ham and pineapple, toasties.Tip: So I don’t waste left over pineapple pieces I put individual pieces into ice cube trays and freeze. When frozen tip pieces into plastic bag and label. You always have them to hand and so easy if someone stops by unexpectedly for a quick lunch!

Wish I'd bought the bigger one as it just needs slightly more power for faster cooking the eggs. Takes around 2.5mins to toast 2muffinhalves on their own. Can 'slow-cook' two eggs, without egg rings to avoid extra cleaning of egg rings, in about 3.5mins, however would recommend bigger version if time poor. Takes up minimal bench space is the plus here. Various height settings is good when just cooking two eggs on their own. Believe will be better in Summer than competing with Winter cold kitchen at 5am. Bonus is easy to clean with one piece of damp paper towel. 4 stars. Good Product. (Recommend going forward another 200w of ... We came from using a Breville Sandwich Cutting Press which, before long, resulted in the bread sticking to the teflon cutting divider each time it was used. We had two such devices & ended up throwing them out. This new Sandwich Press is a complete game-changer! Simply, wonderful! We give it 11/10!
We've only had this for a few weeks, but have used it about 5 times and have found it useful for what we wanted. The non-stick surface cleans very easily. It only fits 2 standard sandwiches at a time, but it doesn't take up much space in the cupboard, especially as it can be stored on it's side.
