I'm not a huge fan. It's fun for a baby to shake for noise, but that's it. It's really way too hard to teethe on the shape makes it difficult to do anything with it other than shake it. My baby also got bored rather quickly. She played with it maybe three minutes before it was no longer amusing. Some babies who like to hear it shake might like it better.

My 6 month old loves her new rattle. Great item, very sturdy, colorful and baby proof. Made of thick plastics, but not too heavy for baby to shake and shake in delight. Bumpy and rigid edges make teething baby satisfied as well.

This rattle is colorful and makes a pleasant sound to entertain my baby. It is well made and is a great, safe toy for infants.
This rattle is a great combination of light, and sufficiently 'rattle-y'. We use a pacifier clip to secure it to baby when we are in the car, and when she is in the Ergobaby carrier; so she can have a toy nearby on the go. The end is a good size to gnaw on, and overall this is a solid toy for small babies.
I bought this for my new nephew--he was up for a visit recently with family. I wanted to buy just a few things little things, and this was great. It's a good price and perfect if you want to get just a little something. It was small enough that he could play with it. Good buy!
My now 5 month old is obsessed with the rooster rattle toy attached to his Tiny Love activity center. He grunts in frustration trying to pull it off. I bought this barbell rattle hoping he'd like it just as much since it makes a very similar sound and that way I wouldn't have to remove the rooster toy for him to play with. Ufortunately he's not interested. No fault of the toy so I still gave it 5 stars.
Cute and affordable toy for babies. I bought this toy for my 6 month old and he loves it. He tries to stick it in his mouth and opens real wide. It’s actually pretty funny. I like how the toy has remained consistent in its shape and color throughout the years. I remember buying this exact one 8 years ago for my older son.
I bought this rattle when my son just started noticing his hands. He likes to try and grab it and then try and put it in his mouth. It is simple so not over stimulating, but just enough to keep his attention. The middle part is a little close together and twisted so he has a hard time getting his little fingers around it. I am sure it will be fine in a few weeks when he gets better at using his hands. I recommend the rattle.
