Very happy with this product - my son just LOVES the noises, watching two trains crossover (one in the tunnel, one through the top of the mountain), figuring out where the train needs to stop for him to get the gold out/in of the truck. It is the centrepiece of every track he builds.
He and his father love playing with his train set that he received at Christmas. The tunnel add on was given to him for his birthday, a few days after Christmas, adding many hours of extended play.
My kid loves this addition to our existing track set(s). The set needs batteries to make sounds, and I have to say, the sounds don’t take over the play/experience..

My 3 year old grandson is majorly into construction vehicles so to receive this world crane and mountain tunnel addition to his Brio Train Set and accessories was an incredible experience for him. He fully participated in assembling it by viewing the box it came in, engaged his younger brother with the various sound effects to distract him from dismantling the mountain and both boys rush to it each morning to “play trains “. Great gift. I got it on sale for 20% off so if you’re interested be patient and either see if it comes on sale again (smart marketing move) or shop around. Best addition to ourBrio Train Set, which we started with his Dad and brothers over 40 years ago! THAT’S QUALITY!
