BRIO - Travel Battery Train

Love this battery powered train and so does my grandson! Easy access to buttons on top of train which travels forwards and backwards, plus stop. Brilliant!

Adorable Battery-Operated Train

This battery-operated train is adorable. It's made from a hard, durable plastic. The train can move forward or backwards. A train conductor is provided with the train too. I love that the train works with other train sets besides BRIO. It's a great addition to any set. This product was received as part of a promotion in exchange for my honest review.

Cute Train, Vibrant

My son has already had so much fun with this train, and he hasn't had it very long. It's great to connect to other magnetic trains (wooden or otherwise). While you can use this with your wooden railways, you can also use it with no track.This train goes backward and forward at one speed. I wish it had another speed, so does my son. He wants it to go fast and it does not. It's slow. Squeaky, too, but maybe ours is an anomaly.There is a slight hum due to the batteries, but it's hardly noticeable. Our engine didn't work at first, but I loosened the battery compartment door, and it works fine now.This is our first Brio person, and my son asked why his hands are so big. The conductor doesn't fit through some of our tunnels because his hands make him too wide.If you buy it, make sure you've got 2 AAA batteries. Excellent Train

This train is excellent. The quality of the materials, the detailing in the paint and design is all great. My just turned 3 year old absolutely loves it. It runs extremely well on and off a track, even running on carpet. The magnets are strong and the train itself is durable. The buttons to turn on the train and change directions are on the top so it is easy for little hands to turn on and off and change directions while the train is in motion without having to turn it over or pick it up at all. It is self-contained as a toy but would also fit seamlessly with other Brio train toys. Highly recommend this train.

Excellent, high quality set

What a wonderful set! My 7 year old train lover absolutely adores it and has become one of her favorite trains! Strong enough to easily climb hills and steady enough to follow the most hastily built tracks. Beautiful and high quality. I received this set in exchange for my honest opinion, but will absolutely be purchasing the other sets on my own as the quality is that great.

Fantastic motorized train, we love brio!

Fun Little Train!

Great quality! Our train loving son is having so much fun with this Brio train! It is a great addition to his collection. He likes the fact it can go forward or backward and that it came with two cars. It is made of a durable plastic and is magnetic so it can connect to other plastic or wooden magnetic trains. Also, goes great on the floor and the wooden track we already have. This would be a wonderful gift as a starter train, or a for child who already has a a train collection. We cannot wait to add more Brio to ours!- I received this product in return for my honest opinion.

Great entertainment for a 3 year old

As an early reviewer, I received this product in exchange for my opinion. But my 3 year old nephew loved it as soon as I took it out of the box. Small enough not to take up a lot of room space, this little train and pose able figure kept him entertained. Accessories will be a great birthday addition!

Problems with Battery Door

Love the train, as do my grandkids. One problem: The train was NIB. When the battery door was pushed in all the way, the train didn't work. When the battery door was almost screwed in, but not all the way, it ran fine. Screwing the door in that last little bit while it was running would cause the car to stop running. So, we just screw the batter door in almost all the way, but not completely. This is probably an isolated problem.

Who doesn't love a battery operated train?!

Our 3.5 year old has loved this train. We have had other brand trains before that have batteries but this was really neat with the conductor to ride inside (unusual!) It's well built and buttons easy even for our 17 month old. Fits various wooden tracks again from all brands.I received a sample as an early reviewer in exchange for honest review but I will be buying more BRIO in the future! Great!
