I started with a small filter jug Brita few years ago. I was extremly surprised to find that the water is actually filtered and no limescale is left in the kettle or coffee machine. Is saves money and planet. Also keeps our kidneys free of stones ;)

We would not want to be without our Brita filters. We have had several models over many years and also had the filter in the last three of our fridge-freezers, including our latest new one. We find there is a definite improvement to the taste of the watercompared to direct tap water and our kettle never has any accumulation of limescale and so extending its life.It is so easy to run the water through the filter for the usual tea and coffee and we also filter all water for cooking.Refrigerated, filtered water is great for overnight bedside table.We alway like to take filtered water in our car for making tea, coffee etc., on our camping stove, for picnics. No need to pay out to buy overpriced water from the shops.

We bought this filter jug a month ago, been great. We already have good water and an installed filter tap. Main reason for buying the jug was for refilling our tank in our Simplex Optimist fire as our filtered water tap was causing some deposits in the tank. Since using your jug no more deposits. The water is excellent to drink from the jug. Only issue is your website is more expensive than Sainsbury's for filters.

I have a fitted tap filter system (3 years old) and use the P100 filters. The survey you sent me "How's your product performing for you?" does not seem to include this type.In the past the advice you have given me on recycling the P100 filters is bogus, Argos and Tesco do not recycle P100's or so they tell me.Some time ago a notification from our water supply company indicated our water source will be changing. It has, and it now seem to have rendered our filter system useless the last filter fitted (from a bulk order) seemed to make no difference to the water.Last of all. Sadly the P100 replacement filter prices and lack of apparent benefit have now rendered this fitting obsolete.
I’ve been using Brita filter jugs for over 30 years and as we are in a very hard water area they eventually degrade so we change them when they no longer can be cleaned. We’ve probably had five or six jugs, including at least one glass one, over the years and we’ve generally been pretty impressed. However, the Alina has been a big disappointment as there is no way of filling it without removing the lid every time. This is a very poor bit of design, in my opinion, although I’d assume it was done to keep prices down. A false economy because of the frustration caused by it being a very tight fit and being quite difficult to refit at times. Too much force and the inner reservoir can be forced down into the jug. I have very hard water. I developed cysts small ones on my eyes and in my kidneys . I bought the brita just due to this to help my eyes the itching had decreased and i feel the size of the cysts is going down.. It will take a Long time befor they go but as my water even causes scale around my taps i feel hopeful the softer filter water will help .
This filter jug is just the thing for putting in the fridge door of my motorhome. It isn't too big and provides me with lovely chilled, fresh tasting water when ever I want. Having to take the lid off to fill it can be a bit of a faff, I already have a larger filter jug that I don't need to do that with, but it's just something to get used to. It is very good value, and to get a filter cartridge with it is a bonus.
This product was a disappointment from the moment I opened the box. I literally cannot imagine how they could have made it any worse if they had tried. I’ve been using Brita pitchers for years and this was without a doubt the most disappointing product yet. The handle is uncomfortable as it has a sharp edge. The interior compartment does not fit into the unit properly and continuously slips down too far into the pitcher. Within two weeks of purchase the pitcher cracked because of this and is now useless. The lid does not allow for easy filling — you have to remove it which makes the slippage issue work. Just a terrible product altogether.
